Re: Video Games that would have been great as movies

Star Fox, I'd love to see it as a CGI movie. Star Fox would have been a great property to see adapted to film in the '90s or even a cliche-filled action series. However, I don't agree that it should be in CGI. I would much rather have seen a '90s adaptation done with the puppets shown in the origin...

i have to do some cleanup work on the mold but I might give it a try with fiberglass resin to see how it looks. Sorry for the lack of updates but my lazy butt hasn't gotten much done lately. Been trying to finish up Halo and Fallout props.

Most of the movies this year i'm going to wait for dvd unless my fiance and our girlfriend come down and i get dragged to the theater. I'd rather go to a used book store or a museum lol. The Nolan films are okay but I hated their version of the joker for sure and I only ever liked Christian Bale in ...

Resident Evil Series

Just got darkside chronicles and it makes me want remakes of the original 3 games. I love the changes they made to RE2 in that segment so far. I figured I'd be annoyed by it all but it flows better this way. I have Umbrella chronicles coming next along with the wii versions of RE and RE 2 (I think) ...

Re: Video Games that would have been great as movies

I loved Pitfighter in the arcade. Primal Rage could have been an interesting one but would have ended up like the 90s US godzilla disaster. X-com was another that would have been good as a show or movie. Not exactly Primal Rage, but they are currently trying to adapt Rampage. Well they've made a mo...

Anyone else notice Marceline seems able to age herself? In some episodes she's skinny and undeveloped and then in others (especially the one where they have to form a band to open the door) she suddenly is curvy and looks 20.

I'm a huge fan of the show and oddly enough if you look at the subject matter with it being post apocalyptic it could actually be a very dark cartoon if they wanted it to. The Front Mission games, well there are 2 movies but they don't have any mecha combat in them, would be a good one as would be Armored Core. Shadowrun would be a good one too, as would Phantasy Star, Star ocean had one anime series but it was so so. Xenogears and xenosaga would be really good but mi...

Much as I loved the 80's, I have a difficult time separating it from the 90's-- the early 90's, at the very least-- because so much of what I was into bled over. I agree. To me things from the 80s carried over until like 1991-199...

Disney seems to be too busy going after people who make props based on Marvel comics properties these days to do much else sadly. The Nolan movies do nothing for me. The only good part is the Tumbler/batmobile. ledger was a horrid joker, he's nothing like any of the jokers I've ever seen. To me Arkham Asylum/city and the animated series is way better than the movies. I did like Two Face's makeup design though.

I've seen some really bad movies where he's been the only good part. I mean McHale's Navy was pretty much a dud except for him and Ernest Borgnine. He does a lot of voice work for cartoons and you don't know it if you don't read the cast area as it flashes past. I still love him as the Butler in Clue.

I can't believe i didn't notice that but then again I rarely ever read the instruction manuals. Nintendo's done this with Metroid too, there is no real defined timeline so it's been up to fans to come up with one. Like Zelda the games bounce all over the place.

In the 80s when you said Nintendo you'd think of both of them, they even shared the cover of the Nintendo cereal box. I think they can both be good reps of the company and for more mature gamers Samus would work too.
