You'll have to right click and save some of them to see the full size. The close up of Mario and Luigi from the front cover cuts Luigi off on the preview, but he is there on the full image.

Japanese SMB Movie LaserDisc Artwork

Hey guys, I know I've been flitting back and forth for a while, and not made many updates. But I just bought the Japanese Laserdisc and am including photos of it here for you guys to peruse and add to the site. Sorry they're quite monstrous, I can't find a way to shrink the previews on here. http://...

So... we're a month from release now and we've still seen little to nothing of the title past the excellent work being done by you guys on the Behind The Scenes documentary. As it is the final month I'm hoping there's some marketing going to be happening. Second Sight have their own website and Face...

Just to add on Region information. The Blu-Ray region of the UK is Region B. If this is like the DVD, it will likely be region locked too, which means the SMB Movie Blu-Ray will be Region B. Region B includes: United Kingdom, Western Europe, Africa, South-West Asia ( not including Japan ), Middle Ea...

Bob Hoskins has died - 30/04/2014

BBC News has reported the unfortunate passing of Super Mario Bros star Bob Hoskins from pneumonia. His family have asked for privacy to be respected but support has been well received. Any chance of a special commemorative extra for the SMB Blu-Ray to cement the life and career of this great actor? ...

Re: Blu-Ray Re-Release Information/Petition

I know this may be a silly question at this point, but is this being put on a BD-25 or a BD-50? It'd be a shame for it to only be on a BD-25, as they'd have to compress the video and that's cause artifacts to appear and damage image quality. Be a shame for compression to undo all the hard work being...

Or you can do what I do with American imports. Get a BD drive for your PC and set it as the appropriate region. Then simply HDMI from computer to TV. As someone from the UK, if you guys can get me in a visit or something with Second Sight, I'll travel there for preview/interview info.

Re: CineMassacre (AVGN) Review of Super Mario Bros.

A bit of a boring review. You can tell he was loathed to make an AVGN review of the movie because he likes it, and not just calling it the worst film ever made is some odd social faux pas atm (though surprisingly/not surprisingly this is changing as more people actually watch it). It was a respectfu...

Really? I thought it was quite well written and made quite a bit of sense. Bearing in mind that the audience she pulled in would be made of people with a pre-determined negative view of the movie. It's already well known that fans of a series will hate any spin-off that isn't a direct descendant of ...

You say that Redstar, but back in 1993 a large crowd in downtown New York witnessed a slimy skinned, black suited man and tall lizard-headed military officers turn a businessman into a monkey with a large futuristic pulse weapon. I honestly don't understand what some people's obsession with sound formatting is-- 2.1, 5.1, 7.1, they all sound the same to me. It's actually not a big ask. I can do most of that easily in the professional editing software I own. It'd require a little money to get the DVD menu program, but then its plain sailing. Re: Disney buys Lucasfilms...Star Wars Ep.7 on the way

JJ Abrams has been connected to the film as director. Considering how much hate he had for Star Trek, and how much he loves Star Wars, I'm hoping he'll take the job and leave Star Trek so someone has a chance of rebuilding the Star Trek franchise properly. Star Trek 2009 was an abomination.

I think that, personally, the idea of replacing the themes with metal/rock songs in itself would stop me being interested. Nothing about the soundtrack feels like Super Mario Bros. It may fit and feel right in certain scenes but Soundtracks are made to help promote a movie and the feeling you will get from seeing it. Yes. It's proven fact it will. Look at Britain. This is one of the few times we totally got it right and America got it wrong (a rarity, I give you that). 34 people were shot in Britain last year. 34. So it won't cure it completely, but then nothing will. However compare that to over 100,000 in the ...

It could be a later UK release or, as I can assume from some of the text, when the VHS was released here. The reason I think that is at the bottom of the page it states it is "The Most Popular Video Magazine I Britain", and in the early 90's video meant VHS tapes not movies - bearing in mi...
