Re: You knew you liked this movie too much when...

So many great things in film is improvised. Another example I can think of is in the first Indiana Jones, there was this whole battle planned out with the guy with the duel swords and Indy's whip, but Harrison Ford, at the time infected with dysentery, couldn't perform the stunts. After many unsucce...

Re: Nutty's silly art

Oh don't worry 'bout it! Believe me, it was hard ENOUGH just trying to figure out how to merge the two styles together. Just knowing I was at least a LITTLE bit successful is good enough for me, and as always, everyone's got their own interpretations!

Re: You knew you liked this movie too much when...

Oftentimes in an elevator my dad and I will start humming and swaying. XD He was the one who first showed me the movie, and that scene's the one that sticks out to him most, understandably.

Aww, sorry you and your mom didn't see the humor in it! D: I tend to have a, um, questionable sense of humor, so yah, ahahaha.

Re: Wreck-It Ralph

Looks like Mario won't be making an appearance in the film. Here's a tweet from Quint from Ain't it Cool News who attended the film's panel at SDCC: Mario a no go for Wreck-It Ralph, but tons of Sonic, Pac-Man, Streetfighter, Qbert characters. Bowser made the cut, though *casually cries in a corner...

Re: Nutty's silly art

Everyone commissons nutty to do a full animated version. TAKE ALL OF THE MONEY. That would be way to much of a task for just one person. Yet I love the little animted video you did. You talking about the Koo Koo Kanga Roo music video I did? If it is thank you aaaaaa. That took me four months to do ...

Re: Waluigi Discussion

I like Waluigi for what he is; a comic foil for Luigi just as Wario is for Mario. I've been reading the thread, and this is no attack to anyone in particular, but over time I've lost my ability to dedicate so much hate to a single character. And trust me, I've TRIED to with Daisy; I found her so ann...

Re: Seen any good movies lately?

I saw Brave on July 4th. Safe to say it was amazing, especially on a visual scale. The direction of the story surprised me a bit, even if some parts were a bit predictable, but that's half the fun for me, really. I also watched Bigfoot on SyFy and laughed my head off as a terrible CG-I Bigfoot crush...

Re: Nutty's silly art

Koopa, eh?

Hehehe... I'll have to toy with his design. Maybe making it halfway between humanoid and dinosaur; he DID get de-evolved just a LIIIIIITLE bit in the devo chamber when the bros got away, after all.

Re: PETA making a fuss about the Tanooki Suit

It's been a year and I am STILL laughing about this.

I've got a million and one problems with PETA, but I would love to meet the person who's responsible for drawing up their images like that Bloodied Tanooki Mario. Cracks me the eff UP.

I think he's freaking hysterical. The way he sounds like a duck sent me into serious laughing fits when I was a kid.

Plus WOW his form is so gangly and fun to draw, but that's just my artist side talking aaaahaha.

Re: Wreck-It Ralph

Fangirl moment here, but I had a dream about Wreck-It Ralph where Mario shows up towards the end to give sage advice on how everyone is important and has their place in a story no matter how unwanted they seem to be. I was sad to wake up to find it was not true, but if Mario makes even a Stan Lee-es...

Re: Differences from the fullscreen and widescreen versions?

There's one shot in particular that leaps out at me. In the scene where Yoshi first appears, the shot where Daisy recoils on the couch is way different on the original VHS I had. There was like the whole camera move after she recoils just to show Yoshi, whereas in the DVD, it's a static shot and you...

Hello Nintendonut, welcome to our very 'Super' board! I'm guessing by your name, you're a hardcore gamer (particularly on Nintendo games)? :P Yessiree! I grew up with Nintendo, and Nintendonut1's been my sn since my ff.net days. I also have a PS2 and Xbox 360 tho, but I play those mainly for Spyro,...

Re: Mario vs. Sonic, or: Nintendo vs. Sega

What boggles my mind is when people interpret Mario and Sonic THEMSELVES as "bitter rivals" when the only time they've met in canon is in Smash bros and the Olympic Games. I run this Ask Mario blog on tumblr, and I STILL get questions about him and Sonic being bitter rivals to point where ...

Re: Official "Super Mario 3D Land" Discussion

I just got it like a couple weeks ago, and WOW I love it! It's got that appeal from the Galaxy series of the 3D platforming that I adore. I'm kind of glad too, because I recently tried picking up New Super Mario Bros Wii again, but I don't get into the 2D sidescrolling platforming as much as I do th...

Nutty's silly art

So I started this trend like just last night at 11 pm of redrawing stuff from the movie, and this is what's happened so far. http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m6s2sxZDCU1qmsmdoo1_500.png I run an Ask Mario art blog on tumblr, so I've had a set style and lots of practice for drawing the bros for a wh...
