Re: Shooting at Colorado Premiere of The Dark Knight Rises
(I'm in Colorado, Denver actually.) From what I have heard, the shooter wanted to bring back the Joker and decided to kill people. I believe he even had a bomb in his apartment set to blow. His entire plan was to kill as many as possible. We have had so many major shootings in Colorado, it makes me ...

If I end up going(which I'm going to try hard to do) then yes. I'd love to do it!

Re: The First Year (Fanfic)
I can't wait to read this! It sounds really interesting. I'm thinking of doing my fanfic on Daisy when she was growing up, inside of the Catholic church. Haha, maybe after we all do our fanfics, we can make a book out of them!

Re: The Mariofiction Project
I'd be willing to do a short term fanfic. I've never written a fanfic before but I've done a lot of fantasy work. I would just need a topic to do it on, since right now my mind refuses to cooperate with me.

Re: Nutty's silly art
I envy your art capabilities. This are so amazing! I would love to see you do a comic strip of a scene from the movie. You certainly are very talented, can't wait to see more!

Hey! Glad you were able to find us! We're happy to have a fellow lover of the film on here. Feel free to post anywhere you like as long as you stay on topic. I've only seen the film once but I also immediately enjoyed it. I hope to see you on the forums more.

Re: possible sequel idea
I think that a sequel could be a good idea, but personally I'd like to see a new animated series before that. This way, people have time to get used to the idea, or learn it again if they're older. Also, with a cartoon, you can develop the characters more and be able in the movie to focus on better ...

I'm going to try to go to the one in Denver (I live there). Hopefully by then I'll get a lot more people interested.

Re: Calling All Fans! An Ideal Extended Cut
I was thinking that since it seems so much of the cut footage seems more mature that a re-release should be marketed towards an older population. Try to brand it towards the twenty and thirty year olds who played the original games, and perhaps even saw the movie. Off the top of my head, I'd love to...

Re: Amazon/IMDb Scores -- Ratings for a Re-Release
Plumbers and Princesses and Dinosaurs. Oh My! Let me start off by saying I thoroughly enjoyed watching this movie. I'm young enough to see all the imaginative quirks in it, but old enough to catch almost all of the irony and symbolism throughout the movie. Before I start critiquing the actual movie...

Did Anyone Else Catch This Bit of Irony?
Daisy, a product of evolution from dinosaurs, was left on the steps of a Catholic church whose theology is based on creation. I saw this and said "I see what you did there".
Maybe it is just me, but I catch some of the most unusual things when I watch a movie.

Re: The Hunger Games
I have read all of the books numerous times and have seen the movie. I went with some of my family who had never read the book, but absolutely loved it. My main issue with the movie is that the Mockingjay pin wasn't introduced correctly, which is needed for the next movie. Unlike many of my female f...

Another Newbie Here!
Hey everyone, I'm Colette. I am a writing major, but have a high appreciation for films. I also gained an interest in video games last year when as an elective, I took video game programming. It showed me how much it takes to make a good game. And when I was ahead, I got to do "product testing&...
