Re: Worth the Ride?

IMO, it's unquestionably been worth the ride. Everything we've done with the site has been completely and utterly worth it, and helping get a Blu-Ray (of any region) out with a documentary has been the best icing on the cake pretty much ever. Redstar and I absolutely LOVE working on the comic but we...

Discovery Family Channel Broadcast Edits for Super Mario Bros.

As a lot of you folks may know, the Discovery Family Channel here in the US has been airing SMB quite frequently over the past few months! I blame Jurassic World. What's cool about it is that it'll be the first/only way a lot of you guys will be able to watch SMB in high-definition. However, as with...

The seller of this item, Paul, also sent me and Redstar a very nice email and posted on our Facebook page letting everyone know he was selling the item. It really is a great price and anyone interested should jump on it while they still can!

Your part in the film surrounds one of the bigger unsolved mysteries in terms of deleted scenes. If you're up for it, we'll have to get an interview with you on the site to finally solve the mystery!

They just need to graduate the Mario & Luigi development team to the Paper Mario franchise and continue their success with a classic team. They obviously know what they're doing considering they've handled prophecy, time-travel and much more. Haha yeah. People LOVE canon story stuff with the M&...

All good ideas. I think what I'd like to see is that really it's the game you actually do a big, canon Mario story within. I liked in Thousand Year Door where you got to play as Bowser and Peach... they could really take that to the next level. It always seems like they're afraid to give Mario and L...

Wow. Couldn't have put it better myself, KoopaBro. Above all else, fan-edits like this are an excellent exercise in letting fans reanalyze the films they love. If it gets us talking about the film again and thinking about it in new ways, then it has done its job :)

Re: NEW! Super Mario Bros. - The 20th Anniversary Re-edit

I think the thing some of you folks need to get behind is that this project is a fan-edit. There are some things I do and don't like in it--just like I view any other film. I see this project as a fun companion piece. The released film is definitely the version I prefer, but it's always interesting ...

I finally met John Leguizamo in person!

That's right, folks. I finally met John Leguizamo--Luigi himself--in person. Leguizamo has started doing a comedy club tour of his upcoming one-man-show, Latin History For Dummies . When developing his shows in the past, he had done it for small groups of friends and at theaters, etc. Doing this at ...

That's a really intriguing observation. Any era/style of "Zelda" would make for a worthwhile adaptation. As we've seen, Mario is much harder. Personally, I'll believe it when I see it. It could be awesome or be a disaster. Nintendo has been so protective of their properties for media adapt...
