Re: BLU-RAY RE-RELEASE INFORMATION/PETITION
I agree that Captain America is probably the biggest reason that The Rocketeer is being re-released, but it's also the film's 20th anniversary so that could have something to do with it. Also, Captain America is being released near the end of October, so they're about a month apart in release. Altho...

Re: BLU-RAY RE-RELEASE INFORMATION/PETITION
Alright, for those of you who don't know, the Rocketeer is a comic book super hero that was adapted into a movie in the summer of 1991. Like our favorite video game to film adaption, the film was a box office flop, it received a crappy DVD release, has become a cult film, and is a Disney film. Here'...

Re: Super Mario Bros. The Ride
That last bit about the falling onto the fungus, reminds me of the Spider-Man ride at Universal, where, at the end, Spidey catches us with a web. Hmm, I haven't been to Universal in a long time...ten years last summer. I suppose there are only so many ways in which you can pull off a grand finale. ...

Now THAT would be cool. I'm just trying to throw everything I can think of at the riders. And I just thought of one more thing: The train goes through a series of Mario Pipes that take it to different sections of the Dinoverse (I can't think of a better name, sorry) or blasts the train in different...

Re: Attention Canadians! SMB Airs This Weekend!
I don't see why a Canadian airing of the movie would cut out the Twin Towers shot, especially since American networks have been depicting the Towers in film broadcasts without problem for the last few years. Besides, a one-second shot hardly constitutes a 13-minute runtime decrease. Well theres mor...

Yeah, I'm really hoping it doesn't look like total crap, cuz I can't really find any costume pieces that look like Koopa's hair. Haha. The Goombas are also giving me trouble...hopefully LittleBigPlanet 2 will give me more costume pieces to work with.

Here's something I posted in a different thread, but I figured people might find it better if I put it here:
* My cousin noticed that when Mario falls into the rock, he changes colors on his way to Dinohattan, kinda like when Mario gets a Starman power-up.

Re: LittleBigMarioBros.
Cool way to create fan art for the movie. The text and color could use some work but it's a great concept. Hope to see it explored more. Yeah, the text looked alot better when it was bigger. Then when I made it small, the metal material has some limits, so it got all weird. When LittleBigPlanet 2 c...

Re: Would the SMB games work with a serious tone?
A serious tone sounds interesting, but I'd have to actually see it to decide. I also don't think it would do good at the box office if it was too serious. The movie is perfect example. They used a very serious tone and for some reason, people didn't like it...

I don't see the big deal. I own a widescreen TV and I'm fine with the way it looks. No special features? Fine by me. Hey, at least we even got a DVD release.

Re: NEW DVD RELEASE--STILL NON-ANAMORPHIC--YOU CAN HELP!
The cover isn't that new. I rented back in mid-July and the cover was this "new" one. I know it was, cause I remember wondering why Koopa was all blue. also the Blockbuster sticker was covering up "The Washington Post" (where it says "It's a Blast!").
