Re: How would you interpret game characters into the film?
Perhaps Blarg's initial appearance could just be eye's and the top of his head poking up out of the lava briefly Or maybe used as a weapon. Magi invents a "Techno seed" that when fired into lava forms Blarg. Or some mystic talisman falls into some lava and makes a Lava Golem. Similar appro...

Re: How would you interpret game characters into the film?
You know, it's funny. I always saw Chargin' Chuck as a 'bloodsport' athlete in the movie's universe, kind of like in that book "Killerbowl." That statement just shows what a rich backstory Dinohattan could have had, and what a shame it is that none of it was explored in detail. In order t...

Re: How would you interpret game characters into the film?
Yes that's true, but that still makes her somewhat of a villain. Everything you would use Peach for in that way would be better served in another character. And you would almost have to figure out a way to make her Mario's love interest because that's a given with her character, even at an archetyp...

Re: Best and Worst
Best : Bob Hoskins (sorry Lou Albano fans), the cyberpunk/James Bond style of the film, the Bob-ombs at least they kept ONE item from the games in the movie that worked the same way as it did in the games. Worst : Hate to say this but i kinda dont like the bratty cocky version of Luigi, he's cool a...

Re: How would you interpret game characters into the film?
Well if any writers would like to run with the concepts for some fanfics, Id be more thanhappy to let them. My major philosphy behind Peach's more tomboyish, rough and tumble characterization is basically how Peach is traditionally portrayed pretty much as insubstantial fluff. There's really not muc...

Re: How would you interpret game characters into the film?
Nah. Im more of a conceptual guy I imagine Daisy and Peach wouldn't bicker over the throne, and come to some sort of agreement fairly quick. Peach, hardened by years of fighting Tatanga probably wouldnt feel suited for simply sitting on a throne and would be more up for adventuring with the Bros, ab...

Re: Game References/Homages
This is likely nothing more than a mere coincidence. In the very first Mario Bros game, there were enemies called Slipices , a sort of Ice Man that if left unattended, will make the level it comes to rest on slippery. Coulde the Ice Slide scene be inspired from them? Most likely? No. Still... Now TH...

Re: How would you interpret game characters into the film?
Mostly this would be for a sequel. WART: Played by Wayne Knight. Warton King is the owner of the Doki Doki Casino on the outskirts of Dinohattan. He has been secretly stoxkpiling weapons and gear for an overthrow of Koopa. PEACH: Played by Tea Leoni. Daisy's older sister. She was 12 when Koopa devol...

at least its similarI dunno, could be deleted stuff as well.
The pose in the picture by Iggy seems different than the image at the start of this thread. He's standing up straighter.
It IS highly likely that both pictures were taken in the same photoshoot
