I watched Dredd last night with my boyfriend and, while I didn't pay too much attention, I enjoyed it. It was nice seeing an action film with both a female villain and competent female lead. I saw it with my boyfriend a couple weeks ago and really enjoyed it. It's a different monster than the original film, but stands well on its own. It should be treated as something original with shades of homage.

I see Toad has returned. As one of my favorites characters I'm very pleased, although I'm curious to know how he has reverted back to human-form! Hopefully that will be revealed in the story at some point.

I would love to see either Lena or Bertha return, as the two are some great female characters, but I can't think of any way Lena could possibly make a come-back after her demise in the film. lol
