This is really amazing work. You've managed to capture the look of Hoskins and Kaminski while still retaining your own style. The Goomba as well looks really cool. Exactly how I'd hope to see one in a more realistic comic style.

Re: Paper Mario Series
I just can't re-play the first Paper Mario at all. It's too simple a game for me to consider it a real challenge. I do enjoy The Thousand-Year Door, but as an avid gamer of WoW and LoL I consider the Paper Mario series beneath me. I would never even try RPG, even despite my brothers constantly telli...

Re: Marvel Films -- The Avenger Initative
Is anyone looking forward to Phase 2? With Iron Man 3, Thor 2, Captain America 2 and Ant-Man this series of films is shaping-up towards a very cool Avengers 2.

I'm looking forward to it! Seems to be just the right touch on handling Superman; both being true to the character and updating him for a film universe.

Awesome! This is the perfect celebration of the film this year... Now, if only we could get Mark Goldblatt to work on an official cut of the film using yours as an example!

I wasn't familiar with the Italian cut before, but I have to say it does offer a good template for an improved version of the film. Really great work.

Very cool. I checked out your old thread and must say that I love the props. Hopefully you were able to utilize them well in the SMB segment.

Well, you've already brought back fan-favorites Iggy & Spike, so thinking of another character to return is a little hard.
I would have to say Big Bertha, for sure!

Raimi's films featured Dr. Curt Connors in a small role, so it's no doubt he would have returned in the fourth as the Lizard much like he was used in the reboot. It's truly a shame as I imagine Raimi would have utilized him much better.

Re: Mario Party Series
I played Mario Party 9 a couple nights ago for the first time and I really enjoyed it. Having gone from Mario Party 2 and 3 to this entry I can say that it's much more balanced, making for a more fun experience. It's also just so easy! I dominated our party on our run through Boo's Haunted Mansion. ...

Awesome! I'm glad you're using the video game sounds more judiciously this time. They have the potential to enhance the experience of the film, but only when used where appropriate. It's just a matter of knowing when that is. Keep up the good work!

That's a pretty sly grin for Yoshi! Adds a whole new dimension of personality to an otherwise sweetly childish creature.

Re: Twists and Turns (a short story)
Nice story. I like the pacing, which really builds the suspense.
However, like Redstar said there doesn't seem to be much of a climax. The suspense needs to reach a crescendo and build towards something. Consider this an early draft and get back to us with more soon!

I also have to jump in and state how great an idea this is. It only goes to show how much different the film could be if it received an official recut. Even just removing some of the extraneous material goes a long way towards improving the overall experience.

Very cool. The movie had a great soundtrack, so seeing any of its songs played in another medium just brings you right back to 1993.

Interesting direction. I like how well you pace the story. It really keeps things moving in a way that makes me feel like anything could happen. I would also have to agree that Birdo's design is interesting, but it's not exactly what I would have imagined. May I ask why you chose to make her more fe...

Re: Amazon/IMDb Scores -- Ratings for a Re-Release
Misunderstood, but a quality film. Ah the Mario Brothers. For most people, the simple name "Mario" is as recognizable as even the most famous celebrity. Sadly, this comes with many burdens. The main one being one of the most die hard fan bases in existence who will simply not stand for an...
