An Idea!! Thwomp Boots Recreated!!!

Ever since I saw the movie, one thing that I always would like to have was a pair of the Thowmp boots that are worn in the climax. Aside from the Goomba designs, I felt they were the "Hoverboards" of the movie. Speaking of which, Mattel did a reproduction of the Hoverboard which lead to a ...

Re: The Italian Cut

It works....but I think it would have been better to see the bit with the king. The line he had (which I think was "where are those plumbers?") would have been priceless to end it on.

Re: Video Game Adaptations 'Worse' Than SMB

Two words: Double Dragon...that's all I got for a mess of film that could have been enjoyable campy...if it wasn't so obnoxous and absurd from start to finish tossing in one oddity after another.

Re: Calling All Fans! An Ideal Extended Cut

I know I brought this up in another forum topic, but here is an open door we are forgetting. Some TV airings of movies have extra footage added in to padd out the running time. I don't know if this is possible, but what is the chance of some of the deleted material making it into an airing of this f...

Re: Official Deleted Scenes Thread

I understand this is something that has been asked more than once, but what is the story behind the "de-evolution" scene being originally in the theatricle cut and then removed for future DVD/VHS releases...you know...there is a strange theory I have. Battlefield Earth was re-cut for home ...

Mars Attacks...Returns!!!

Yes, this is true. For its 50th Anniversary, Topps Trading Cards and IDW comics have decided to relaunch the ultimate cult classic of pop culture to a new audience. Needless to say...it couldn't have come at a better time. The cards in question are reprints of the originals, which is what you would ...

Re: Other Movies/TV Shows that Remind You of This One

The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinlke - the cartoony atmosphere and quality reminded me of the level of comedy in SMB The Flintstones - Well, both did have dinosaurs and it is a city that has them...despite being not evolved and humanized... Congo - Just the level of camp and adventure...no its no...

Re: Adventures in Dinosaur City

As mentioned the original title was called "Dino City" in the Greek version and the added character name titles in the animated segment are only in the US version. And if I recall, I think the animated segment the kids watch is a tad longer but I will have to view and compare again. There ...

Re: Non-official reviews (Video and Text)

Considiering how my YouTube channel was taken down a long time ago, here is the other link to my review of this flick. I stil regret the day I filmed it. Don't worry, I enjoyed the movie, but originally I was going to film this on a camera I had...but I left it at my house...so, the poor quality web...

Re: Adventures in Dinosaur City

I actually have a copy of this and a version that was released in Greece with Greek subtitles and extra footage not even in the American cut. The other thing too is that the movie was called Dino City, where else here its Adventures in Dinosaur City...weird isn't it?

Re: Blu-Ray Re-Release Information/Petition

You know, if they do release this to Blu Ray, it will deffinatly be such a momumental day for fans and those who like films that have their flaws but still enjoyable for what the are. Personally, I can see this being almost like the release of the Cable Guy where it had an audio commetnary, behind t...

Re: An Underrated Reviewer

Thanks for the welcome. I really do hope they give this movie the Blu Ray treatment. I can already picture it being adjacent to what they did to the Cabel Guy with an audio commentary, press junket of behind the scenes features and deleted scenes. But if they go all out on it, I will be one happy bu...

An Underrated Reviewer

Hello everyone, my name is Morgan and ever since I learned about this flick, its been one of my favorite guilty pleasures and it ripens with every view. Currently I do a webseries called Vaulting that looks into the underrated side of nostalgia and that was one of the many films I reviewed in season...
