Re: Worth the Ride?

Awesome hope everything works out. I'll be here waiting for updates and having conversations with you guys when I can. Hey do you know what kind of hat Mario wore in the movie? I'd like to buy a similar one, I just don't know what kind of hat it is. It was a red newsboy cap. Probably custom-tailore...

I'm not an administrator, so I have no information on the comic or any future updates. I don't know what to tell you, but I do hope to see the site spring to life again. Maybe if we can find the Barry Morrow first draft or something.

Re: Worth the Ride?

What makes me sad is that a primarily American movie has not yet received a proper Region A Blu-Ray, yet. I don't know why these forums and the community have died down so much after the release of the Blu-Ray when there's still so much more to do. I say now is the time to really kick it into gear.

Re: Possible fan fiction Mario-less remake?

I never gave up on it, it just got pushed back by other projects I had on my plate. If I were to continue it, though, to answer your question: "Would it be a story or a screenplay?" I'd have to say it'd probably be a story as a universe as vast as the one described in both the screenplays ...

I've thought about it, but I think they'd get off with the whole fair use/transformative defense. You could always give it a shot. I mean, other stuff gets taken down way more easily in spite of that. Also, did they list the "fair use" disclaimer? I mean, not that it means anything but if...
