Re: Second Sight DVD/Blu-Ray Release of Super Mario Bros.

Seconded, who here's been working with Second Sight, I know at least two of us have, myself not included, but maybe someone involved (I think Redstar and Phlibbit are the main two communicating with Second Sight?) could pitch the HD trailer idea to them? That would be good for business.

Re: Never Forget: Living in a Post-9/11 World

Here we are, again-- thirteen years after the bleak metamorphosis which transformed the world into a chaotic mess of technology and unfeeling, apathetic people satisfied with mediocrity. In the world I wish I could see, there was no 9/11, no rush into this bastardized technology, these unneeded wars...

Can I just, re-iterate this? Is there a way to do this that I'm somehow missing? I'm pretty observant with this stuff but after five years of moderating and posting and... whatever, I just have no idea how to change it. So, once again, is there a way?

Just to add on Region information. The Blu-Ray region of the UK is Region B. If this is like the DVD, it will likely be region locked too, which means the SMB Movie Blu-Ray will be Region B. Region B includes: United Kingdom, Western Europe, Africa, South-West Asia ( not including Japan ), Middle E...

Re: Calling All Fans! An Ideal Extended Cut

It's all coming together. I mean, come on. If they can restore Once Upon a Time in America to its entirety after three decades , then not only is Super Mario Bros. restorable, but it's guaranteed that the footage in question is safely tucked away somewhere. People keep saying it's with Disney, which...

Okay, I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record but 2014 is proving to be a good year for restored footage from old movies and I can't keep stressing this enough. @UE5K: I think that's the character he (Michael Keaton's character) played in the movie within the movie, though I'm not sure. I was never a big fan of the Birdman cartoon from the 60s, I was always a Space Ghost guy.

I found another movie that looks good this year!

Birdman stars Michael Keaton playing a washed up comedian who once played an 'iconic superhero' in the 1980s and is trying to get back in showbiz... it looks awesome!

^Shigeru Miyamoto was never a CEO at Nintendo. You probably had him confused with someone else. Well, you know what I mean-- he was the guy who was in charge of a lot of stuff there for a very long time, including aiding the creation of the Mario character in a huge way. Let's not argue semantics. ...

It is odd that the movie is more popular everywhere other than the States. Even former Nintendo CEO Shigeru Miyamoto has gone on record as being a fan of our favorite film!
