I think for a few scenes they shot live-action "plates" of NY landmarks like the bridge and then put them in the backgrounds of scenes like the dig site. So in other words they cut and pasted bits and pieces here and there to make it look like New York. That must have been a pain, nowaday...

Well, not exactly, they just said they haven't put it on Blu-Ray yet, but that they'll forward the idea to the boys in marketing.

I would just love to re-read through this and offer my final thoughts in review-form, but the lack of formatting in the early parts is just killing me.
