Re: Making of Doc?
I'm just not sure I understand why a predominantly American film would only get a release in the UK-- the same thing's been going on with Brian Yuzna's 1989 visceral horror flick Society , the movie was made in America and it's about American society, hence the title-- it has the American flag on th...

Well, even if it never gets finished, you can always release the unused footage and interview with Joffé. If money is a problem, there's always Kickstarter.

I found the weirdest Bob Hoskins music video...
So, I wound up in the weird part of YouTube and I found this music video that seems to be an original... (to say the least) song about Bob Hoskins set to mostly clips from Super Mario Bros. and some of Bob's other movies... Some of which even I've never seen. It contains a tiny bit of bad language s...

Re: Super Mario Bros. The Movie: The End of an Era?
I'm in the minority as I, while having enjoyed Super Mario 64, Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart 64 and Mario Party 1 & 2 am completely disgusted with the current design (cutesy, Mickey Mouse-like) and voice (Charles Martinet, I'm sorry, but he's just not Mario.) and complete take on Mario that Nint...

Welcome to the board, YoshiWrangler. I'm kind of sad you joined just now since this place is pretty much dying. But hopefully you'll breath some new life to it. That's inflation for you. But, if nothing else, purchasing stuff from the movie from MEL would probably drive up interest and revenue in the movie, adding more awareness towards getting a Blu-Ray release.

I often dream I'm wondering through the abandoned cement plant where the movie was filmed and I see the 'shadows' of the actors, directors, writers and producers moving about through the old, aged and decayed sets and props. I take a lot of vitamins, so my dreams are extremely lucid.

Does anyone here watch Doctor Who ? I recently got back into the show, having grown up with watching reruns of the Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy episodes on the Sci-Fi Channel in the 1990s, I found the new ones on Netflix and they're amazing!
