Re: The Sims 4 (Announced) 2014

I hope they don't mess up one of my favorite series (which they've nearly perfected with its 3rd incarnation) the way I heard they messed up Sim City 5.

Re: 4/28/13--Japanese DVD Release

Our favorite part of the press release? That they point out a Blu-Ray release is definitely not coming any time soon. At least they asked about it. At least not in Nippon, there's not. ...there is no immediate plans for Blu-ray of in Japan ... Considering we apparently got the first DVD release, if...

Re: Marvel Films -- The Avenger Initative

A nomination is as good as a win, especially a few nominations. Furthermore, the money a movie makes at the box office doesn't tell us how many people saw the movie, it tells us how much money it made-- they shouldn't count ticket sales in dollars, but rather by the number of tickets sold. Everybody...

Re: Marvel Films -- The Avenger Initative

Batman Forever won an Oscar, too. Just because a movie is nominated for or wins an Oscar doesn't mean it's as overly sophisticated as everyone makes it out to be. Besides, the Academy has lost its mind, lately-- they gave Best Picture an silent French film a couple years ago. Now, I'm all for being...

Re: Marvel Films -- The Avenger Initative

Like Redstar said, you just need to appreciate the films for what they are. Certainly not on the same artistic or technical level of The Dark Knight , but still something fun. :P See, to me if I wanted something artistic and technical in a superhero movie, I'd watch Watchmen , but to me, movies lik...

Thor and Captain America were nothing more than flashy two hour commercials for the ultimate letdown that was The Avengers. Any subsequent movies featuring those characters in the current Marvel canon are simply commercials for Avengers sequels.

Re: Sequel comic

My major concern with the original jumpsuits were how loose they were. They just sort of hung off Mario and Luigi, which I always felt detracted from the overall design. This update is more form-fitting. I can actually take Mario seriously now, so I can only imagine Luigi will look even better. :) ...

I would never even try RPG, even despite my brothers constantly telling me how good a title it is. Actually, I can vouch for "RPG" being a very good game. I know the idea of Mario in an RPG sounds sacrilegious, but it's kind of like the movie in that it has less to do with the main Mario ...

Re: NEW! Super Mario Bros. - The 20th Anniversary Re-edit

I'm not so sure; iMovie automatically degrades the picture quality of whatever's imported into it. It still has better editing tools than Windows Movie Maker, which makes everything look like it was edited by a middle school student syncing Death Cab for Cutie songs to Trigun . I use Final Cut Pro X.
