Then why are they the Mario Brothers? Also, Mickey Mouse's last name is "Mouse" for the record.

I agree, there must be a director's cut out there. It would be like a quest for the Holy Grail, but hopefully no Frenchmen will be holding it captive this time.... And I don't want to have to use the Holy Hand Grenade again, like when I had to in order to get confirmation of a future "Freddy G...

Re: EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW--David L. Snyder (Production Designe
Interesting stuff. Maybe he knows somebody who knows where the missing footage is. I mean, they just found a director's cut of "Event Horizon" on an unlabled VHS, so it's plausible that the extended cut of "Mario Bros." is out there...

Much better. I mean, we're only eight or so months away from the film's 20th anniversary and we've been trusting the fungus all this time.

Forum slogan...
I just want to say, I have a serious issue with the forum's motto: "A place for fans to trust the fungus." That's extremely redundant-- I think anyone who's a fan already trusts the fungus.
Therefore, I move we change that slogan to "A place for those who trust the fungus."

I saw that they had done this via Twitter. Haven't watched it yet, nor do I really intend to, but it certainly gave the film a boost in attention. That's always good to have at least once a month. Re: Rifftrax Commentary About the Movie
The way you say that makes it sound like youre the one who made the movie and youre honored by it. Oh, I forgot to tell everyone: I'm a time-traveler-- I actually was born in the mid 1940s, but discovered a portal to 1981 in 1957, where I lived out my days until late '94. During that time, I was on...

I've always thought of the "Back to the Future" movies as being in the same vein as the "Bill & Ted" movies-- I mean, yes, there is time travel in it, but the movie is really just a comedy. If you want to see a movie that depicts time travel in a serious manner, watch George...

No, no, no. In deleted scenes, you see that Old Biff actually faded from existence when he arrives back in 2015, much like Marty would have done if he hadn't set things straight in the original film. One of the writers said that Lorraine probably shot Biff around 1994, and that if Doc and Marty had...

I will admit that BttF is one of the best trilogies ever made, all things considered, but to me I just sort of see it as a pop culture-diluted illustration of time travel. I'm a very dedicated fan of science fiction, so time travel must be approached very intelligently for me to be interested in it...

And overall, I really love the Saw franchise. I guess it's kind of a guilty pleasure. The last film of the series was absolutely atrocious and pretty much ruined the whole thing, but it's the only horror movie franchise that I've ever been interested in. First of all, winning an Oscar doesn't mean ...

Mario Party 3, because it took the gameplay of the first two games and completely threw it in the garbage. I liked Mario Party 4, though... But the first two in the series are the best.

I absolutely cannot stand any show by Seth Mcfarlene. Is that really what American humor is coming to? I would have to agree. While I have a soft spot for American Dad, the reliance on rape/molestation, abortion and sexism jokes in Family Guy is not in any way amusing. Yeah, you can only make so ma...

These characters (Goku/Clark) may not fit into the specific racial/ethnic groupings of the human race, but they still look it. Fox simply didn't respect the character enough to make an effort to cast an Asian actor in an Asian role. That makes zero sense. Why would there be Asians in space? The las...

I've always enjoyed The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen . The casting is good and the story a good reversal of the original novels. The book was okay to me. It overexplained everything & there wasn't too much of a sense of isolation to it. It was enjoyable nonetheless. I loved the vagueness & atmosphere to the 1980 movie, it's more of a symbolic piece-of-art than a movie. The scenes of Llyod & Jack are some of my fa...

That one's a guilty pleasure for me, as I read the book after seeing the 1980 Stanley Kubrick movie, then watched the 1997 version and compared them. I enjoyed both, but the 1980 version is far superior. The remake, despite being much closer to the book still took too many liberties with the origina...
