I think, personally, King's only truly frightening work is the book that he thought went too far: "Pet Sematary."

I know that one of the directors, Rocky Morton I think, spilled hot coffee on a guy because he didn't like the way the costume he designed looked.

I agree. I think if a young Luigi needs any facial hair, it would just be a small goatee on his chin... but the clean shaven look worked for him in the movie.

Well, it's a preference of mine. I prefer more sensible sequel titles, rather than "Title: Subtitle," which is something that's going to confuse people three hundred years from now when they're trying to watch the "Resident Evil" movies in chronological order.

The story "Apt Pupil" in the book "Different Seasons" is excellent, the movie, which I'm pretty sure was either made for TV or direct-to-video, I did not care for. It didn't capture the essence of growing up with the Nazi and it didn't even come close to portraying the evils that...

I actually bought the sequel a few years ago, it's also signed by Gary Wolf. It does kind of retcon the events of the original like you guys mentioned before, but I do remember that it's still much more hard-edged than the film. I believe the type of hat Mario wears is a classic "driver's cap." And their outfits, while described as "coveralls" in the scripts, are more like jumpsuits.

It's not a bad idea, but it's not up to us to decide. We'd have to get ahold of someone up in charge of Lightmotive or something in order to even propose such a thing. But it might be good to promote a cause like trying to cure prostate cancer, which Dennis Hopper passed away from a few years ago.

Interestingly enough, the first few of the more than forty drafts of the film adaptation of Gary Wolf's novel were significantly darker in tone, more like the book. In fact, at that point in time, the studio hired award winning musician Sting to write a song for the movie's then-tragic finale. It wa...
