For some reason, at the end of the movie, I always thought Mario said "If I had a mind of my own, I'd mind my own business," after Luigi and Daisy kiss. But he actually says "If I had any sense I'd mind my own business."

Well, Alan Silvestri scored a lot of famous films, including the "Back to the Future" trilogy, which has one of the most recognizable themes of all time-- why shouldn't "Super Mario Bros." get a score release?

I think you should add in something about the sky of the Mushroom Kingdom looking like "tomato soup" or however it's described in the one script, like, there's not really any sun, but more of a thick fog full of light.

I'm a little confused, does this take place after the events of the nonexistent sequel that was implied at the end of the movie? Either way, it's very well written.

I think my "Watchmen-style" screenplay based on the initial '92 Runte/Parker script fits in here, somewhere... But I could always hypothesize more ideas.

The Italian cut ends very abruptly... No closure, nothing-- but, it does cut out the idea of the possibility of a sequel that would never be made (which is still something I hope for every day). Still, the ending is less abrupt than the original Wes Craven version of "The Hills Have Eyes..."

The artwork is amazing! Also, I see that someone finally noticed that "Mario" is the second plumber Bob Hoskins has played in his career, the first was "Spoor" from "Brazil."

Everything. It is the greatest film ever put on celluloid and people need to know its greatness.

The movie doesn't deal with evolution nearly as much as it deals with mutation, or as it's referred to in the film, "de-evolution," although such a miracle is disproven by science.

But, as an existentialist, I don't believe in science. There is only the Super Mario Bros. movie.

I don't know, I'm a big fan of Uwe Boll... I have several of his films on DVD and if I were writing and executively producing a "Mario Bros" sequel, I'd give him the director's chair-- that's how insanely confident I am.

I know I'm going to sound Orwellian here, but I think we should make it our duty to find all negative reviews of the film and have them deleted. I'm talking about flagging websites like Rotten Tomatoes and IMDb, as well as burning copies of so-called "Movie Guides" that have negative revie...

This looks like that old TV show "Dinosaurs" (I think that's what it was called.) which was basically just the Flintstones with an all dinosaur cast...

It must have happened around the time I switched all my computers to Mac OS 9... I've become a retroactivist and I idealize the past and I feel the most important movie of the past is "Super Mario Bros."

Demolition Man, Judge Dredd, and for some reason The Fifth Element all remind me of the Super Mario Bros. movie.

I've seen stuff in horrible condition at my local flea market regarding the movie. But there's a very good video-store in the Farmer's Market that sells several copies of the movie, they even have their own shelf dedicated to movies like it!

I definitely like the 12 inch talking figures of the Marios, but... why is Luigi African American? I mean, don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with it, but, I think John Leguizamo is Hispanic... I think that might be the work of a practical joker.

The footage is still somewhere in a vault. I know it, I can feel it. They wouldn't just throw away the master print of the extended cut-- that still exists and it will be put together, in time.

I like the fact that "Super Mario Bros." got first bill over "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." While I like Rocky Horror, it is inferior to the greatness of "Super Mario Bros."

We should figure out some sort of form of "viral marketing," like posting pictures that say "Re-Elect Koopa" around the town we're screening in or something. Something subtle, like "wanted" posters of the Marios' mugshots.

Wilmington, that's where the movie was filmed... They need to know the greatness that came out of that old cement factory, and hopefully in doing this, they do.

I have a feeling Bob Hoskins is probably a lot easier to get ahold of than you might think... I also think it might be a good idea to interview the man who would be Mario, Danny DeVito, as we know he had some involvement with the film for quite some time.

Well, John Leguizamo's been in worse movies... like "Summer of Sam" and "Spawn..." But "Super Mario Bros." is the greatest film ever made and if I could, I'd take this screening event to a whole new level and replace every reel of film in every movie theater in the worl...

I will personally baptize fans of the movie in fungus, if I had the resources, I'd start a program for underprivileged kids who love movies and show this film to them everyday.
