Re: Mario Party Series
Maybe it's because I haven't played "Legend of the Seven Stars" in about ten years, but I have no recollection of "Boshi." However, as Yoshis are a race and not a singular entity, I can assume there's one bad apple in the bunch. It still doesn't excuse "Waluigi," who h...

Re: Mario Party Series
Washi/Boshi is from 1996's Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, so he's a character introduced before the modern era of the Super Mario series. Are you talking about that purple Yoshi fellow with the top hat who steals Mallow's thing at the beginning of the story? I thought his name was &quo...

I like "Mario" as their last name; it's just the sort of quirkiness that works for the series.

Re: Mario Party Series
I don't think even Wario likes Waluigi because Waluigi is just some crazy person who dresses similar to him and keeps his facial hair in a familiar style. Even the symbol on Waluigi's hat is uninspired. An upside-down "L?" Isn't that the Greek symbol for woman? So Waluigi is a transvestit...

Then shun me, because Waluigi is awesome. Re: PETA making a fuss about the Tanooki Suit
Hehe. Yeah, I read about this on Kotaku. I can see PETA's point when it comes to an issue like this, but they're clearly only targeting Super Mario due to its popularity. There's many other video game properties with far more realistic and sinister depictions of interactions with animals. As it sta...

Re: G4TV "Videogame Movie Deathmatch" VOTE NOW
Not to be a pessimist, but the odds of winning this were slim, anyway. The best we can really take from it is how many votes Mario got versus everything not Silent Hill, which should be pretty good, if it was the "most voted on" option.

I've long considered SMB The Movie to be the Sonic SatAM of Super Mario Bros., and I know I'm not the only one. In fact, it's that thinking which has helped me to enjoy the film even more over the years.

Had the movie been more successful, I wonder if they'd have called the location it was shot "Mario's Cement Factory."

I would absolutely LOVE to get my hands on a pair of the boots... preferably a pair that could be worn, of course. I really did love those things in the movie. 3.) It's a simple continuity error. It just never occurred to anyone that Mario and Luigi already had boots. Had discarded them, you mean, if you're referring to the Bertha part. I forget when I first noticed that they had ditched the boots; I couldn't imagine them doing it, so I thought Luigi got ...

So, Why Did They Ditch the Boots?
Thinking back to the movie, one of my favorite parts leading up to, during, and after the movie came out were the Thwomp Stompers. If you're going to come up with a way for Mario and Luigi to jump high that isn't just "because they can," this has to be one of the coolest, in my opinion. Ma...

Love it. TTYD was the first one I played, and remains my favorite. Once the original was available on Virtual Console, I dove right in, and enjoyed it quite a bit as well. Honestly, I don't know how far this suggestion will go; I'm not even sure how to create them myself, but I was thinking that the board could use another choice in theme, perhaps one more closely reflecting the look of the movie and website (maybe steel and rivets on black, like the logo?).
