The (Hopefully) Definitive Custom Thwomp Stomper Thread

The Bros. have them. Everyone here wants them. And yet, I don't think anyone has quite perfected the art of creating a custom pair of Thwomp Stompers. I know I want a pair to really complete my cosplay for next year; I seem to recall someone telling me they knew someone who could make a pair, but th...

Re: I was in Nintendoworld in New York City...

I honestly think Nintendo got fed up with Dic, or Dic left Nintendo beacause they were doing Sonic cartoons after Mario. Back then Nintendo and Sega were rivals so that's my theory on that. I'm doubtful, or at least a little skeptical. Nintendo wasn't doing new Mario games, save Super Mario Kart, a...

Hard to imagine anyone who'd visit this forum wanting to sell theirs, but you never know. Maybe someone has a spare or something.

In any case, good luck! I know I want one as well, among other things.

The Avengers; seeing Mario and Luigi fighting off an alien invasion alongside the world's greatest superheroes would be awesome.

Re: Late 80s-early 90s era VS 00s-Martinet era

Indeed. I love both versions for what they are. I mean, to me, Kevin Conroy is THE definitive Batman, but I still enjoy other renditions as well, from Adam West to Christian Bale. I think Martinet works better for the Mario of today, as he's typically portrayed. Of course, he more closely fits how I...

Re: Miyamoto: The Koopalings are NOT Bowser's children

I thought Bowser Jr. was more interesting because of the Koopalings, when it was thought they were his kids. I mean, here comes this youngest one who seems to be the clear favorite... there's potential for rivalry there, especially as Jr. seems to be the new leader of the whole lot in Bowser's stead...

^The idea of a "super dark and serious" Mario movie is a frightening thought in my mind. It shouldn't be. They've been doing gritty remakes with everything, lately-- like I said, just look at the new Batman movies. That's kind of an odd comparison to make. Mario's parents weren't exactly ...
