Re: Goomba action figure collection

Thanks :) the snake head goombas are the hardest to come by. As you can see in the picture there is a darker green goomba I painted him myself. I plan to do with more figures as well.

Positive mario bros movie reviews?

Just been searching youtube and all I came across was negative mario bros movie reviews. And I was wondering if anyone has actually made a positive video review? because I would love to see one. I'm really fed up of people jumping on the band wagon and making bad reviews about this great film. It's ...

Re: Has anyone dealt with MEL effect lab before?

Thanks for the replies. I couldn't seem to find a compliant contact in their site. I thought about writing directly to the person I'm dealing with but thought with the way they have been acting they wouldn't really care. I won't be paying out for a bust. Its just to much money and so far the experie...

Has anyone dealt with MEL effect lab before?

I recently got in touch with Mel effects lab about their goomba busts they sell. The price for an unpainted goomba bust is $225 and for a painted one its $400 Both prices are pretty high but I'm willing to spend it to have something great in my collection and something I genially care about. I think...

Re: My signed and graded mario bros figures.

That's AWESOME that you got them signed by Charles Martinet, rock n roll!!! Also, great display cases for the two figures, where did you get them? Also, did you have the figures AFA graded? I totally wish mine were autographed. Hi, thanks for the kind words. The figures are UKG graded. I have used ...

My signed and graded mario bros figures.

Ok so there not signed by Bob Hoskins but the next best thing Charles Martinet! Aka the voice of super mario. He was an amazing guy and real pleasure to meet. He knew what these toys were straight away. He told me he had never signed any movie stuff before and it was a real pleasure for him to sign....

Re: Custom SMB Figures

Thanks all for the kind words I may do another one and do some repaints on other figures. This one took a matter if minutes to do so all you need is a spare goomba and koopa saw the hands off of each file them down glue them on and change over the heads. It looks really cool displayed with my other ...

Re: ERTL Toy Line Discussion

Does anyone know if the goomba head was intended to be used for koopa? As the goomba figure looks nothing like the goombas in the film. Also interesting that on the profile of koopa on the back of the card ertl used the de-evolved koopa image instead of the Dennis hopper humanoid koopa. From what I ...

Re: Custom SMB Figures

My custom dino kooper figure. Very easy to do. I just used the head of the goomba. Sawed the hands off and filed them down and glued them onto a koopa body. I think this is what the koopa figure should have looked like. Also pictured is my UKG Goomba and my all time favourtie figure the devo chamber...
