Re: How would you interpret game characters into the film?

I like the idea about how Peach could work better than anything I've heard so far. Redstar is right in that you're was treading too close to the games. And my problems with it are still apparent--leaving his backstory for the character behind, everything he would have Peach do is stuff we would want...

Re: The Batman Films

I own the Blu-Ray :) It's probably the best of these "DC Animated Unverse" films that have been released, and it's loads better than the actual comic storyline it's based on. I always enjoy Conroy and Hamill as Batman/Joker in animation, but DiMaggio does a great Joker that fits this film ...

Re: Goomba Head on Ebay

I wouldnt be suprised if someone nabbed this from one of the anneversary screenings and decided to sell it. just a hunch That's a pretty off-base comment. Both screenings had everything on display either under lock and key and watched at all times. As far as the actual item itself--like Redstar sai...

8/12/12--GoRadar 'Best of' List, Coloring Book Fun & Goodwin

We have several minor points to share this weekend: * The film was featured by GamesRadar on their ' Top 10 Best Video Game Movies ' as the fifth best video game adaptation of all time! This is not the first time the film has been promoted from 'worst adaptation' lists, but it does represent a growi...

Re: How would you interpret game characters into the film?

I like the DK implications, but not sure how fun it would be to explore further. Still... Imagine how cool it would be for them to take Scapelli to Dinohattan to re-evolve him and something screws up, making him into more of a DK character. He'd definitely have a grudge against Mario at that point. ...

No, not a copy. Either a hired henchman or competing plumber or something. Someone exploiting the events going on to benefit himself.

Re: How would you interpret game characters into the film?

That's tough. The film gets most all of the iconic characters in there.

I could care less about "Peach" since Daisy is a composite character of both. I would say Wart, but we got him kinda. Probably Wario.

I disagree. The Mario cartoons are a completely valid interpretation. I enjoy the Super Show the most although the SMB3 cartoon probably has the best blend of game-inspired and original content. The cartoons have definitely aged much better than some of the old superhero cartoons (from the Superfrie...
