Any idea why foam rubber was chosen for the stunt boots, over another, less time-intensive process with less upkeep? Was there no other alternative?

Yeah--the first half is definitely the best part.

And I totally agree that the "making of" pre-trailer thing is the best "official" movie trailer. It's the combination of the music, Koopa turning in the rain, and "This Aint' No Game." :P

I did a reworking of what UE5000's done so far--got it in quotes and bold page numbers to break it up a bit. I also fixed any blatant misspellings as I found them--I left in stuff I didn't know to change or inflections or onomatopoeia and stuff like that.

He was the Art Director on Blade Runner. Perhaps a good thing to ask would be if there were plans for anything major to be built that got cut both early on and at the last second. This differs per film, but a lot of times the interviews are done in advance. Lots of times the score is done during post-production and the production company might not have a composer nailed down until late in production. I'd imagine this could have been the case here.
