Re: Props/Costumes Still In Existence...?
Sure it shows. The amount of minute detail on things in the SMB movie is so ridiculous that a lot of people don't really realize it.

Re: Props/Costumes Still In Existence...?
What an interesting story, having the tools be lighter. I wonder if that's the reason Luigi lost all of his tools? The spanner wrench is definitely the coolest part.

Re: Evolution
Well, just as the case with movies like Harry Potter, you can't take it too seriously. Since the movie wasn't a huge box-office success, I don't think that the evolution issue had much to do with anything. Now, if the film turned out to be a smash hit, I think there would have been a lot more backla...

a Koopa figure that's head flips inside his body to reveal another head that is his transformation state. That would have been sweet. Now THAT would be cool. I have this old red Power Ranger figure where it's got his head without the helmet, and it can flip under to reveal the head with the helmet....

Re: Animated "Riverside Cafe" Scene
I had a thought today, and I think it would be cool if someone could do this one: take the "Tale of the Fisherman and the Genie" scene from the early SMB draft and animate it. The one where Luigi tells the story while the group of kids are surrounded by him.

Hey it's great to hear from you. The devo gun is looking great so far! I can't wait to see the finished product. And btw, if you're planning on tackling the thwomp stompers eventualy, check out the Jeff Goodwin interview. I believe there's some sort of snowboarding shoe that they used as a base.

Re: SMB Movie Plot Holes/Goofs/Inconsistencies
Well, from the way Scapelli was acting around her, and the shot of her looking suspiciously in Iggy and Spike's direction, I think she probably thought she'd take her chances with the Mario Bros. at that point, heh.

Dr. Enuf
So I live in Tennessee, in the tri-cities area. This was the birthplace of Mountain Dew, believe it or not. The company had another soft drink that they invented--Dr. Enuf. They sold the rights to Dew a long time ago and look where that went... They still make Dr. Enuf around these parts, and I've g...

Official Plot Holes/Goofs/Inconsistencies Thread
So I thought perhaps there should be a thread on this stuff. Every movie has plot holes, and goofs/inconsistencies of some sort. So this is the place to present/confirm/deny that stuff. You guys can post what YOU think is a plot hole/goof/inconsistency, and I'll make an ongoing list here in the top ...

Lane would be a better Mario than Luigi. But probably not right for either, IMO. Still, I'm so biased that I can't see anyone but Hoskins and Leguizamo in the roles at this point.
