I think you'll be very pleasantly surprised by not only how good the monorail scenes in Batman Begins are, but also just how excellent both movies are in general.

I'm curious if you've thought of trying to incorporate any of the monorail footage from Batman Begins into your SMB cut? If nothing else, you might be able to use it as a nice cut/establishing shot and still be able to get the Bullet Bill effect in there. Other films with trains/subways you might be...

Yeah Zack I believe there were some other tools that Mario carries in the film - mainly just a few other screwdrivers I think. However, I don't believe those were ever cast in resin because the screwdrivers were the lightest tools out of all of them anyways. So I guess that's why there are no screwd...

Yeah I never would have thought that they were resin either. But it also doesn't surprise me either. The budget for the props alone on that film was 1.5 million!!

Soooo...no luck with the teaser image, huh? Okay, well I've had my little bit of fun...aaannnd I finally got some time to take some nicer pics of the new props!! While I am still at a complete loss for finding a Stomper Boot, these are still pretty cool and will have to hold me over in the meantime....

Great interview! Hearing about all of the detail and work that went into the film really gives you an appreciation for how much effort everyone put forth. I hope some of the crew members who worked on the film that visit here can see our appreciation for their creativity!
