i have to say, that is a pretty dang dark view of the Mario mythos. I mean, yikes. But, it's also a very creative and new approach. Instead of being the hero by heart who valiently dashes in to save the day, Mario has an even heavier "everyman" feel. He's got problems, issues and weakness...
