Re: How about a "raunchy" sub-forum for The General Thread
Usually a "raunchy" subforum requires a person to be at least 18 to get in. Now, I don't know where you're from, but wherever it may be is where 15 is the legal age of an adult (I think that's somewhere in Saudi Arabia?) but in the States, it's 18+... Plus I'm an American, just to let you...

Raiders of the Lost Ark anyone? This movie is just plain ol' fun, nothing too spectacular just a high budgeted B movie but like I said very fun and very good.

How about a "raunchy" sub-forum for The General Thread
Basically, it's pretty obvious that most of us posters make a lot of raunchy posts, some were so raunchy in fact that I remember Philibbit deleted them (they were in the Quotes thread). So after I read another post about the raunchiness of something else I immediately had an idea. Why not make a rau...

Videogame Adaptation Concepts
The title should be painfully obvious so I'll just go ahead and list my concepts: Super Mario Brothers: A satirical farce inspired mostly by Brazil, this version would have the entire plot be a twisted game of capture and rescue. For you see in the Mushroom Kingdom it's a early tradition to have the...

Re: The plots i had for my SMB flim franchise
I personally think you should gone all out. Have the first one be PG, the second PG-13, and third R rated. Since this most likely won't be an actual trilogy you might as well go this route.

Re: 'Bad' Movies That You Still Enjoy
I found it more Hijacked by Superman, but I still liked it. Well to be fair I don't really count that trope since Superman and other heroes were inspired from Greek Mythology. Hell, the stories of Perseus and Heracles were indeed the original the Superhero Comics albeit more sexual and violent. Asl...

Re: Nicolas Cage's unhealthy obsession with Satan...
Let me analyze this example list: City of Angels-- I'll give you this one as I have not seen the movie. Bringing Out the Dead-- Well, to be fair there are a lot of people with their interpretations of hell, I don't Nick should stand out. The Wicker Man-- A movie that ('s supposed to) points out that...

Re: Nicolas Cage's unhealthy obsession with Satan...
Eh I think it's more of a coincidence the Nick's in these movies. He's been in other types of movies and most of the examples included here either talk about the dangers of contact with the devil like Ghost Rider, are mere coincidences like the sorcerer's apprentice, or have nothing to do with Satan...

Re: Miyamoto: Mario/Luigi don't have last names, mentions mo
Yes but this is a video game franchise, and one where logic has very little meaning. Besides, Mario and Luigi don't even have last names, from what I've heard they never did, even in the early years.

Re: Miyamoto: The Koopalings are NOT Bowser's children
But there is and was very little canon in the games anyway, it's not like Zelda where story is important, the Mario games have an "Anything goes" kind of attitude when it comes to continuity so when stuff like this happens people like me don;t really care.

Re: Miyamoto: Mario/Luigi don't have last names, mentions mo
No, they'd still be the Mario Brothers because Mario gets top billing and Luigi gets no respect, at least it seems like this in the games. Plus the name sounds catchier than anything else.

Re: Miyamoto: The Koopalings are NOT Bowser's children
I'm pretty sure none of the games were supposed to be about story they always took a backseat to the gameplay so the koopaling's not being Bowser's kids shouldn't be of wild concern. My main question is why is everyone harping on this? It's just a little change that doesn't really change anything el...

Two words: continuity reboot.
Miyamoto did say in the games current storyline so maybe this is a different reboot.

Re: Political Humor Shows
I think the most surreal thing about The Daily Show was that it wasn't always hosted by John Stuart. Actually that's not the most surreal part, the REAL surreal part is that the original host was on for about a good 3=4 years before John took over. I just find it weird.

Re: Miyamoto: Mario doesn't have a last name, mentions movie
True but in the games Luigi was given little respect and the filmakers didn't make the games and as you can clearly see, their vision was different from Miyamoto's.

Why are you convinced that men are only allowed to watch a certain type of cartoon? I personally don't understand why My ...
