Re: Official Plot Holes/Goofs/Inconsistencies Thread
Okay, I got one. I know that, in a movie where a meteorite sent dinosaurs into a parallel dimension, and where humanoids can be "de-evolved" into more primitive life-forms, that real-world physics are something I shouldn't worry about too much. But worry I do, because it's fun, and I like ...

It really seems that, in the end, they're just selfish desires to join into the ruling elite by being with a Portal-Keeper. At this point Daisy is the only surviving member. His relationship is almost comparable to Gendo Ikari's relationship with Ritsuko Akagi in Neon Genesis Evangelion in that it ...

I'm sorry, I've just never seen the point in AMVs, putting songs to anime and trying to make some sort of connection. Actually, somebody showed me the whole 'The Dark Side of the Moon,' put to 'The Wizard of Oz,' and I just didn't see it. The term Apophenia comes to mind. What you're thinking of, C...

i already mentioned this in another thread, but during the scene where the SMB meet Toad for the first time, Mario is clearly irritated by his singing. I don't much care for Return's script, and I'll have to see the other fanfilm on this page. The main problem with Hank Braxtan's films is that they're too pop-culture-y, and there are a few lines in Return that he could easily have done without (the Batman and Robin and Chuck E. Hopper's Koopa, however, is more disappointing in his tonal inconsistency. He's such a brilliant actor, especially in his villains, so you would have hoped for a better performance from him. I dunno, some villains need more subtlety, but others need a larger-than-life, hammy performance. For me, Ko...

Replace all of the Goombas as CGI, and then take every flame thrower, and devolution gun, and replace them with walkie talkies. That is the perfect way to George Lucas the SMB movie. That's Steven Spielberg, by the way. As for me...crap, I can't think of anywhere in the movie that calls for Mario &...

I like the style you used in drawing her. While she's a bit too colorful for Dinohattan's usual fashion-sense and could use some more spikes, I like the character design nonetheless. I notice you mentioned a Patrick Tatopoulos in there and I just had a brainwave: do you think whoever wrote the script for Godzilla 1998 named its protagonist, Nick Tatopoulos, after this man? It might not be too much of a stretch, especially if he worked on the movie.

Bowser looks more like he should have a bit of a sumo-wrestler movement. You've got him as a great, hulking monster, and he should have a great, hulking walk cycle to go along with it. Remember he's got that shell on his back, too.
