Re: And so my Journey Begins

Good luck, good sir! There are some listings on ebay right now for the action figures and the police car. Here is the link to the police car: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SUPER-MARIO-BROS-movie-crash-action-police-car-action-figure-1993-Nintendo-ERTL-/190756422687?pt=UK_ToysGames_ActionFigures_ActionFigu...

Re: Movie VS Cartoon

I really didn't care for the cartoons that much, as they weren't like the movie. I would have liked to seen a grittier cartoon, based on the movie in the style of say, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoons, or better yet, Batman: The Animated Series. I think that's the kind of Mario Bros cartoo...

Haunted House Attractions

Hey all! So, I know October has come and gone, but I have been wondering if anyone here is a fan of going to hunted house attractions around Halloween? This has actually become one of my new passions, being a haunter. This past September and October, I worked at my first official haunted house calle...

Cannibal is awesome! And I'm having a great time choreographing the show, it's funny as all hell. The actor we have playing Liane the horse just cracks me up. Shpadoinkle!

Re: Hostess Declares Bankruptcy, Sells Off Assets

It's pretty upsetting, considering I love Hostess cupcakes. I may pick some up soon. Tastycake is awesome, btw. I always loved their Butterscotch Krimpets, which were referenced a lot in a childhood novel I liked called Maniac Magee. Little Debbie is also great, especially their Swiss Cake Rolls and...

You really are obsessed with this commercial, aren't you? :P I guess it just bugs the hell out of me that I can't find it, haha. It's what got me hooked on the toyline in the first place when I saw it back '93. I'm sure it'll come up someday. There seems to be a lot of interest on the internet for ...

Re: Nintendo Wii U Discussion/Recommendations

Not sure if I'm ready for the Wii U yet. I can't afford a new game console at the moment, and I can't say I'm too excited about it. The game pad looks really cool, but I'm not sure exactly how it's gonna work as a controller for the system. I'd rather plat it at my friend's house first to see how I ...

Re: 1/3/11--Video Releases, Toys, Interviews!

Heh, amen to that. It's just such an outrageous charge for a commercial made in 1993. They charge even more for 80's and 70's commercials. I paid only $30 for a LARGE collection of commercials from the 90's on DVD from videomercials.com. That was the DVD that had the one SMB toy commercial that I se...

Re: 1/3/11--Video Releases, Toys, Interviews!

So far I've contacted Nintendo inquiring about the SMB toy commercial, but I doubt they would have records on it. I also contacted http://www.usatvads.com to see if they can find the commercial. However, if USA TV Ads does find it, they will charge me $395.00 to buy it, which I think is kind of a ri...

Well, Ms. Dooley got back to me after asking around the company. Unfortunately, no information on the toyline or advertisements were found. Re: Bob Hoskins to retire, diagnosed with Parkinson's Diseas

It's a real shame that he has to retire now. I always loved and respected him as an actor, even if he despised his role as Mario. But it's definitely for the better that he retires from acting at this point. I think I'll watch every movie he appeared in to honor his career. Watching Long Good Friday...

One thing I love doing is researching where the actors and crew from SMB are doing now.
