Re: Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary COMPLETE
Very curious how you might imagine Super Mario Bros. 2 in the story you've created. There's lots of fascinating elements and visuals in that game that would lend themselves well to an animated Mario story.

Re: 2/25/11--"Look-Look Book" and Fan Art
Very good choices to expand on the Fan Art section. It's good to see more of Iggy & Spike and Koopa, all three of which are characters best suited for stylized artwork.
It was a nice surprise to see the "Look Look" book updated as well. Didn't expect that!

Nice review. It's short, but still an enjoyable watch. I agree entirely with you that Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo were perfectly cast for those roles. I cannot imagine a better Mario. Maybe a better Luigi, but Leguizamo still did an amazing job bringing that character to life. It looks like he ha...

Of course Koopa has the upper-hand. Definitely harsh, but we all know (and accept) your perspective on his character. :P It's a really good piece. its cool but that M logo has been used too much no offence. I have to disagree. The various American release covers may have oversold the concept, but the basic image works. The way Phlibbit trimmed it down to its basic components--Mario and Luigi on the film's classic iron 'M' logo--lends to the b...

I love seeing all these production photos, but they're a little inappropriate for a sticker book, of all things. I would have expected something more cartoony like the coloring book. It's a good subject, but the article itself does lack some focus. I'd like to hear more about how the movie played into what was "known" about Mario at the time as well as why Nintendo would have wanted to change Mario's attributes following it. There's definitely a lot more that could be ...
