Re: EXCLUSIVE SURPRISE INTERVIEW--Andrea Powell (Brooklyn Gi
I think she gave the best interview out of everyone so far, that was a good read. I agree. The good thing with these written correspondences is that you can control the flow of the interview. Usually less informative, but it makes for a much better focused interview. So far, this interview and Mojo...

That second list follows the "It's so bad, it's good" mentality, which I don't particularly agree with, but it is nice that someone could enjoy it in some way when most choose to hate it no matter what.

Good to hear! Seems we're all working on projects to celebrate Mario's 25th in our own way. A simple, old-style animation would really suit the fellow.

Haha. I've done it again? Just doing what I enjoy doing!
I really enjoy how you worked those pictures in based on what she said, particularly the "Apparently it was time to go." image. That was really clever!

You're both right! That was a very good "trailer" for the film that easily establishes it for "grown-ups". The background music and sounds just really help in developing that mood. Such a trailer certainly would have helped in increasing that demographic's attendance.

UE5000 updated his first post with the pages he'd already transcribed as well as seven new ones. I kinda prefer how the movie worked things out. Luigi comes off much less like a goober compared to the script and, surprisingly, it seems paced better. The script is going by rather quick for my taste. ...

Interesting how the destruction of the dinosaurs is explained very closely to how it was depicted in the final film. I wonder if that scene was trimmed in any way to allow for the addition of the animated prologue and the "dimensional gateway" animation. It certainly doesn't look like it c...

That actually turned out pretty well. You just need to paint/digitial colorize it very carefully and very specifically to pull it off completely. That's the deciding factor.

Re: "The Legend of Annabel Jankel"
This is a genuinely great idea for an SMB-related film. The story has airs of an edgy '90s coming-of-age story, and with an indy sensibility I can definitely see it attracting a wide audience despite (or even because of) the subject-matter. There's a slight similarity to the film Fanboys , though th...

New Dream: Every single cut footage was released, giving us a total of 800 minutes of footage (including both deleted scenes and alternate takes) to work with for an extended re-release. Also, there was some crazy musical during the end-credits involving the actors who played the Goombas singing.

If another SMB movie were to be made it should be either Paul W.S anderson or Jon Faverau directing. I don't believe another Super Mario film can be made, live-action or otherwise. There are a lot of similarities between the two films, at least from a production-standpoint, but I think the two films stand well on their own and really can't be compared in a negative way.
