Re: Marioblaster's Devo Gun, Bob Ombs, and more...
marioblaster, (can't believe I didn't say this before, but) that's really great work you've done on the Piranha Plant and Fire Flower. I'd love to see some mobility in those: functional or basic animatronics by having an opening-and-closing of the mouth and rotating of the head functions for the Pir...

Yeah, I actually watched that after hearing Greg mention it in the review you linked in the other thread. It's really good and captures the tone of the movie well. Such a trailer may well have done the movie better justice in the theatres, at least by allowing people to better understand what they w...

With people like billbot, marioblaster, and Howlrunner I think it'd be simple and fairly inexpensive to produce quality replicas. Just a matter of the interest and funds. I'd chip in for a pair for the right project.

Ryan essentially said it best. It's funny, though, we've recently had an interview with two people and they said exactly what you have, Prime. Great guys and great writers. They knew what they were doing.

I took the time to add most of your suggested reviews to the initial post's list with added comments. On a cursory look on Youtube it appears there's a bit more reviews on the movie up, but I won't be actively watching and adding them unless suggested.

Yeah, a lot of things about the original sci-fi draft weren't well-defined. As you've said before, some things were expanded and definitely more interesting, but overall the script wasn't as solid as the final film.

Re: Yoshi's Film/Game Portrayal
I admit I was thinking more along the lines of the Resident Evil Licker and modern CGI, so it would definitely have looked pretty terrible. Still, better than what we got as far as action. One thing that I prefer about the original script is that there were no de-evolution guns. Things were a lot mo...

Well, this was a '93 movie. I imagine such a ride would have been built and operated then, when animatronics would be their only option.

I have never played a single Metroid game. Ever. I was tempted to get into Prime but I rarely, if ever, buy anything. However, Other M looks simply amazing.
