Re: MY SMB 2010 remake

Just one complaint... Please don't go with the firey aura-power-up sequence. Please... This might just be my personal preference speaking, but I am getting really sick of the Mario anime references appearing every. I honestly wouldn't have a problem with it if the "aura" was more fire tha...

I think the escape from the jail and ensuing police chase, leading into the Koopahari work tunnel would translate well into a roller coaster.

Re: Official Deleted Scenes Thread

Nice find! More Iggy/Spike rap stuff is great. Now that dancer in the pic is actually in the film, but it's not as close-up as that. Yeah, I figure they thought they could save the entire scene by just cutting out the parts where she's center-stage and in front of the children. I actually found two...

Okay, in my research for the movie I decided to visit the MEL (Makeup & Effects Laboratory) website , which worked in creating animatronics and costumes for the movie. Once there I found the following two photos from the Iggy and Spike "rap scene" that took place at the Boom Boom Bar. ...

I can see that working if they were small enough, otherwise a more fantasy-oriented setting would be more appropriate.

I think animating the entire scene is a good idea. I liked ultimateemail's version but it was a little disconcerting going from reality to a more basic style. Looking forward to an animesque Koopa; anime usually gets the villains right. Just something in the style.
