Re: Fan characters of the idiotic...

I find that when you're creating characters you have to at least give them some of your own characteristics and life experience. Trying to write for a character who has absolutely nothing in common with his/her writer is just going to be a dull pain in the ass to write for! I agree. I've always put...

We wish him and his family all the best and hope for proper treatment in this time of miracles. Remember him for the man he was as he always will be that man. This changes nothing about who he is or what he has to offer in life. Please also drop any idea towards interviewing him on the film. It's ov...

Re: The Spirituality of "Super Mario Bros."

This is certainly an underlying theme to the film, though I believe it was far more developed than the political message. It's a shame, though, as you never really get a complete transmission of either theme in the theatrical cut. The film could have benefited from a more definite throughline.

I've always been a fan of time travel stories if they're done well and did enjoy Mario's Time Machine, so this concept could be fun. It's perhaps to story-involved for a main series game, but you never know.

I like it! You've improved quite a bit, especially in regards to your dialogue.

I like the new characters. Their personalities are defined, though their introduction appears somewhat random. This could be handled a lot more interestingly than just having them brought into the room without any reason.

True, but when they're marked as the chosen one, is seen as strikenly beautiful to all characters, have many god like powers, and add to that, no flaws at all, then I'd consider them to be annoying and one dimensional. 1. Why was it so much more practical for Koopa to be a human then a dragon? It's far easier and less expensive to have a human actor portray a character then to put him in a full-body suit or utilize CG that, at the time, simply did not exist. You also have to consider that actors are hired for the...

I quite like it. While the art style is certainly dated to that of popular '80s/'90s manga, it's still an unusual take on the property. The art direction is superb while the characters feel different enough to make the story hold together outside of the "silent hero" pure archetypes of the...
