Re: How Hopper Should've looked like in the movie. xD

Yay for you again, Luigi! 'Nuff said

Both edits are very good! But since you weren't so happy with the yellow-and-green face edit, might I suggest you play around with various colour tones until you find one you like?

Oh nice, I haven't seen one of those tins before! Can you please take a photo of it? :P Boom. Note that the candy actually comes in a little plastic bag within the block. Oh wow, awesome! I hope they come out here in England! Perhaps I can talk to Roy (the manager at my local GameStation - and yes ...

Re: Official SMB Game References in the SMB Film Thread

Lena could be the Koopalings' mother who is never mentioned in the games

The lady with the egg in the pram could be a Birdo (the egg-spitting miniboss from SMB2)

Re: Super Mario Kart thread

I play it! It was of course one of the two games which came with my SNES when I first had it, the other game being Super Mario All-Stars. I experimented with everyone and I found Toad and the Koopa Troopa to be my best players, but I seem to remember I scored my first 50cc Star Cup gold trophy with ...

Re: 3D Dot Game Heroes

I have 3D Dot Game Heroes, yes it is a lovely game! I sucked at creating my own characters, so instead I play as a Geisha whom I have named 'Natalie'. I have an overall preference to play as any playable female characters in games, especially any cool and/or exotic-looking females such as the Geisha...

I do have a ? block tin of lemon coin candies I got for Christmas, sitting next to the TV remotes... Oh nice, I haven't seen one of those tins before! Can you please take a photo of it? :P As for censor cuts... yes I guess I can see why the part when Koopa sticks his tongue out may probably be cut....

Re: Attention Canadians! SMB Airs This Weekend!

It has to be said, congratulations to the Super Mario Bros. fans in Canada. As well as for the general enjoyment, I assume some (if not all) of you will be watching it as a belated tribute to Dennis Hopper? And is anyone going to buy any chocolate coins (in gold foil, of course), brick chocolate, co...

Oh, and I was talking with RedStar the other day, he has accepted my offer for me to become a 'Koopa Troopa' for the site and happily deal with any troublemakers who make really nasty comments about the movie - i.e. expressing extreme hate about it, and un appreciation of the immense amount of thoug...

I know the Thwomp Stompers were, as the name suggests, half-based on the Thwomps... but how about actual Thwomps in Koopa's tower? Perhaps, in a deleted scene, Mario tries to dodge them on the way to rescuing Daniella?

Merry Christmas everybody - and a happy early birthday to me (December 27 is my birthday so yes I'll be out celebrating then, too)! Re: Official SMB Game References in the SMB Film Thread

Like with Iggy, King Koopa introducing himself as Larry Lazard could be another Koopaling reference ('Larry' is the name of another of the Koopalings). And no, Spike is not named after the fortress mini-boss (who is Boom Boom, from whom the Boom Boom Bar takes its name). Spike is named after this gu...

Awww man I was really upset when Dennis died, most of all due to a rather shocking little factoid: he died on a day when another unjustly shunned videogame movie -namely Street Fighter (yes the Van Damme one), which happens to be my favourite movie- came on TV in my country! Thankfully nobody ...

I have the movie novel, the video and the DVD, also I once borrowed the soundtrack cassette from my local library.

-Koopa's platform at the end closely resembles Bowser's 'clown' car which first debuted in Super Mario World -Some people think 'Somewhere My Love' (or 'The Dancing Goombas' Song', as I affectionately call it for obvious reasons) was added in because the tune sounds very similar to the underwater th...

Hi I'm new to the forum. I'm a hardcore gamer, so yes I love videogame movies too and I give them the respect they deserve - and Super Mario Bros. is one of my favourites. Even my mum loves this movie!
