Gorgeous poem, Daisy, and definitely some of your best work! You can really sense the strength of Toad's devotion to Dinohatten and its people.

Re: Koopa's Relationship With Lena
From what we've heard Koopa's affections were not reciprocated, but according to one script the two did have some interaction that may have bordered on the inappropriate. It was surely a capital crime to interact with the Queen/a Portal-Keeper as Koopa did. Yes, I think mutual feelings are more apt...

Re: Movie-inspired Poems *NEW POEM UPDATE!!!*
Wow, this turned out so beautifully, and the imagery with the eagle is so suiting for Daisy's situation. The mood you've created here really captures her feelings of such an unforgettable moment in the film.
P.S: I love your banner! It depicts one of my favorite scenes, as you well know.

What a lovely haiku, and one that would go very well with one of your Mario and Luigi arts.
A Day into the Dinohatten Civil War was such a moving, heartfelt piece. The description is splendidly done, and provides the reader with a clear image of what's happening.

What a great idea of yours to do a drawing featuring Nintendo!Koopa and Movie!Koopa together. You've captured them both perfectly; I particularly like the angle in which you've drawn the T-Rex's head. You're also very good at drawing the Bowser featured in the games. Your drawing of Koopa and Daisy ...

Hooray! New poetry by Daisy! ^^ These are all wonderfully written, and really capture the significance of the SMB universe. Wow, this turned out really well! I, too, applaud you for having the ability to do such impressive work while using nothing but a laptop's fingerboard. Koopa's face came out the best, I think, and I like the 3-D effect of his fangs and claws. And you've got his classic blond locks/spikes, which is a...

Re: Koopa's Relationship With Lena
As an adult, I can more clearly spot things like Koopa's attraction to Daisy's mother and his "Lolita Complex" when it comes to Daisy. I'm still toying with the question of whether or not he truly loved the Queen, but I think he probably did. I consider it more than likely that the meteori...

Yeah, she fills the role of Sgt. Simon in the Clement/la Frenais draft script in that she books Mario & Luigi at the police station. She also "confiscates" Daisy's pendant for herself in the process, which causes Mario & Luigi to track her down at the Boom Boom Bar, which in this ...

Re: Daisy/Koopa
That's a very interesting tidbit concerning a possible attraction of Lena for Daisy in one of the earlier scripts. It also represents a whole new spin on Lena's decision to do away with Daisy in the scene where Lena attacks her with a dagger. Sort of like an "If I can't have her, then nobody ca...

Koopa's Relationship With Lena
After watching the movie again last week, it hit me just how cold Koopa's affections for Lena are; to the point where they can even be considered nonexistent. Lena’s lines ( â€All you care about is her [Daisy]!†) and attitudes indicate just how strong her feelings for Koopa are. We also know t...

There was also another scene which got cut from the film (a bit too risqué for the kids) where Koopa and Lena french kiss.
