Re: The Lizard in the new Spiderman movie looks like a Goomb

I see more of a resemblance to Koopa's face when he first begins to de-evolve near the end.

While I love Labyrinth, I know many dislike it. However, it hasn't stopped the film from getting a huge fan-base. I'm a fan of the Return to Labyrinth manga series too.

Re: How would you interpret game characters into the film?

I've got it. I know what really should have been a part of the Mario movie. The boos! Mario and Luigi could have discovered several secret passageways in Koopa Tower and the boos could have been lurking in there.

Re: Little things you notice...

That does make sense, Redstar. However, he doesn't really seem to care about the well-being of the other citizens of Dinohattan outside of Lena and (maybe) his cousins and with them all most likely being of Tyrannosaurus descent, I don't really understand why he would care much about whether or not ...

Re: The Creepypasta Thread

I read one on the CreepyPasta Wikia site last night that was pretty freaky to me. It had to do with the first Kingdom Hearts game and was talking about a place known as the 'Cathedral Glitch,' which took the player to an area much like the cathedral with the Snow White scenes. However, the pictures ...

Re: Dennis Hopper as Victor Drazen in 24

Overall, I really love Dennis Hopper, but I'd have to say his best performances, while Koopa was amazing to me, were Frank Booth in 'Blue Velvet' and Howard Payne in 'Speed.'

Is it just me, or was there a little bit of Frank Booth mixed in with Koopa?

Re: Best and Worst

The best part of the movie for me was the whole fight scene between Mario, Luigi and Koopa. I just think it was altogether epic, from the beginning to the end where they are fighting his true Tyrannosaurus Rex form. The special effects were exceptional during that scene. The worst part for me too wa...

Yes, it is, and it only gets better with the second installment. In my opinion, the best of the best when it comes to Mario games is the original Super Mario Bros. for Nintendo, Super Mario 64 and Galaxy 1 and 2.

Re: How would you interpret game characters into the film?

I would have liked to have seen Bullet Bill actually having a part in the movie other than just a sign with his name on it. The bullet bills are a big part of the Mario series and have been in nearly every game. It would have been awesome if Koopa could have had a torpedo gun and smaller versions of...

Now that I have played Super Mario 64, I notice that the way the walls ripple before you jump through reminds me of the portal Mario and Luigi go through in the film to get to Dinohattan. There HAS to be a reference to the film there, because it's basically the same exact means of transportation. I ...

I had no idea that the factory's history was so gruesome. Have you ever heard of those kinds of moons?
