Re: Star Fox: The Thread

I've only played 64 and Adventures, though I really want to play Assault. 64 is fantastic, Area 6 is probably one of my favorite levels in the history of video games. Adventures isn't very good when looked at as a Star Fox game, but if you understand the circumstances under which it was made, and lo...

Re: Favorite Mario Games?

World is probably my favorite of the 2D games. It's just amazing how many secrets they managed to pack into this game. It's everything that was great about the NES Marios and more. Then for 3D I'd probably go with the Galaxies. Some great levels, and amazing soundtracks. 64 isn't far behind though, ...

Re: Mario Party Series

I've have 1 and 3, and I've played a little bit of 6. 3 is something that can make for fun multiplayer every once in a while. Mostly just the mini games though. The board game is alright, but they just go on for so long, and they're way too luck based that eventually it just becomes annoying. 1 is p...

Re: EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW--Richard Edson (Spike)

Great interview there. There's always so much more to learn about this movie. Interesting that him and Stevens were the ones primarily responsible for much of Spike and Iggy's dialogue. Also always interesting to hear about more of Jankel and Morton's wacky antics. I'd also be very interested in wat...

Re: The debate of Mario's voice

I started gaming in the 64 era, so Martinet's voice was always an integral part of the character for me. While I love Hoskins' performance in the movie, and Captain Lou's on the show, the idea of game Mario with a Brooklyn accent just sounds horrible to me. When I play Mario games I wanna hear some ...

Re: NEW (CRAP) DVD RELEASE--STILL NON-ANAMORPHIC--YOU CAN HE

Figured I'd do my best to aid in the fight. Hello. I recently purchased a DVD of the film Super Mario Bros. While I am aware that the film was not the biggest success at the box office or with critics when it originally released, there are many people like myself who enjoy this film a lot. While I'm...

Re: Yo

Thanks for the welcomes, everyone. Also, if I may ask, could you tell us a little about your thoughts on the movie? What you liked and didn't like? Well, first of all I'd agree with you that there's a genuinely good film in there if it's fixed up a bit. I actually like the fact they turned Mario int...

Hey, how y'all doin'? Ever since I started playing video games, I've been a huge fan of Mario and Luigi and all those wonderful Mushroom Kingodmers. When I eventually learned that there was at once point a movie made about these characters, I knew I had to see it. I kept hearing about how it was sup...
