Re: Broadcasts Planned for the Movie
I found the Discovery Family Channel's plan to have both "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and the Super Mario Bros. movie in their programming within seconds of each other today very interesting since the actor who played Mario in the Super Mario Bros. movie (Bob Hoskins) played the detective Edd...

No Walker Boone too much like Hoskins. Needs to be a happy voice. Everyone should agree though that Charlie Day of Sunny should be Toad. His voice is scratchy loud obnoxious and yet enjoyable. I would not mind hearing Walker Boone as Mario or any of the other voice actors for the animated TV progra...

I believe the Super Mario Bros. movie was actually the first live-action theatrical movie based on a video game, not the first movie ever based on a video game (see the anniversary video).

Some of the best movies with great appeal among children and adults are light and fun in addition to being serious in some instances. I would rather produce movies appealing to folks of all ages. I don't need a "director's cut" of the movie, as I like the movie the way it was. I would not mind a DVD with unused scenes as features separate from the movie, though. They, along with commentary or notes, would give folks an idea of the process of making a movie. Occasionally a "dir...

That was the first "Sequelcast" recording I had ever heard and it will most likely be the last. The use of a rude speech enhancer (expletive) was unnecessary and I wished one of the hosts had studied or reviewed the Super Mario Bros. movie or else he would have not called Daisy "Peach...
