Great video Phlibbit and Redstar!!1 I totally wish I could've been there for the LA and Wilmington screenings. Makes me wish you guys could book screenings in Boston or Providence, RI, because I know for a fact I wouldn't miss those!!
Congrats guys on all of the screening events. An thanks for all of the hard work you've done for the site

We'll have to look into either of those locations if you'd be willing to host the showing for us!

Hosting a screening entails being on stage, introducing the film and representing us at the site in an official capacity. You have to make an effort to publicize the film to get as many people to come as possible and, once there, take photographs and video.
It's not something you could do on your own, but with a friend or two backing you it's more fun than anything else.

Long time visitor...first time poster. Anyways, as a huge fan of the movie (due to its campiness), and the Mario Brothers in general, I'm excited as hell to hear that you guys are re-screening the film...esp in my area of Dallas. However, I have a question. What if I don't currently have a debit card or anything to reserve the tickets (I recently ended my bank account)? Is there another way to buy the them? I'm really hyped about this event, but it'll be a bummer if that's the only way I could attend.

Thanks for posting! You can certainly purchase your tickets at the door with cash if that's your preference. There's no need whatsoever to pre-order online.
We hope you can make it and have a great time catching it on the big screen! Since you've taken the opportunity to finally register feel free to continue posting. It'd be great to have you around.

Thanks! Don't think I've felt so welcomed on a forum before, lol. I'm def going to attend the event. Wouldn't miss it for the world. I've followed this movie for YEARS (much like you guys...just minus the website, lol), and I've always thought it had an interesting history behind it (man did John Leguizamo slam it in his book). But to finally see the actual surviving props, and some old cast and crew there (if they attend that is), it's pretty much a dream come true.

Well, John Leguizamo's been in worse movies... like "Summer of Sam" and "Spawn..." But "Super Mario Bros." is the greatest film ever made and if I could, I'd take this screening event to a whole new level and replace every reel of film in every movie theater in the world with a copy of "Super Mario Bros." We will prevail!
