A place for those who "Trust the Fungus"

So, the infinite phpBB spambot problems never cease. I've had it set to the mode for a while that I personally have to approve of a new member when they're trying to join. So, if you're trying to join the forums, please send me a real email (at the same time that you register, or I may miss it) that informs me of your username and such. And then I'll approve you on the board. Yeah it sucks, but that's what we'll have to deal with for a while.

UPDATE: 4/20/11

Because of the overwhelming amount of spambots and such on the forums lately, I've had to reinstate the above policy.

I'm looking into some options to improve the registration policies, but for the time being:

PLEASE SEND ME A PERSONAL EMAIL LETTING ME KNOW YOU'RE TRYING TO REGISTER OR YOU WON'T BE REGISTERED.

Well, looks like we're having spambots again. I even changed the registration question and that didn't seem to help.,

So, until we can get this fixed, I've closed registration again. Send me a personal email if you're trying to register.
