Surprise! Redstar has done it again--we've snagged an exclusive interview with Andrea Powell, who was a Brooklyn Girl in the film (the one in high heels and smoked cigarettes).

I really enjoy how you worked those pictures in based on what she said, particularly the "Apparently it was time to go." image. That was really clever!

Loved the interview! Its great seeing more positive perspectives on the film, and that the "he's not better than my boss" ad lib was kept in that deleted scene! The fact that she made longterm friends with some of those people on that set is really amazing. Good stuff.

I think she gave the best interview out of everyone so far, that was a good read.

I agree. The good thing with these written correspondences is that you can control the flow of the interview. Usually less informative, but it makes for a much better focused interview. So far, this interview and Mojo Nixon's (which is surprisingly focused) are my two favorite interviews on the site.

Wasn't Mojo's interview just great? His responses both about his experience with the movie and his thoughts about it now were incredibly articulated.
