Ok so there not signed by Bob Hoskins but the next best thing Charles Martinet! Aka the voice of super mario. He was an amazing guy and real pleasure to meet. He knew what these toys were straight away. He told me he had never signed any movie stuff before and it was a real pleasure for him to sign. He got a real kick out of seeing them. He even jokingly said would I not prefer Bob hoskins signature instead.
He signed them and wrote Let's a go and woo hoo on the mario figure. The woo hoo is in the top of the case which is not pictured. And he write Mama Mia Goombas! On the goomba figure. They are now proudly displayed in my house and without a doubt the coolest items I own. I hope you guys get a kick out of seeing them.

That's AWESOME that you got them signed by Charles Martinet, rock n roll!!! Also, great display cases for the two figures, where did you get them? Also, did you have the figures AFA graded? I totally wish mine were autographed.

Very cool! It's things like this that make the film's memorabilia even more, well... memorable!

Hi, thanks for the kind words. The figures are UKG graded. I have used AFA in the past but have found UKG are much better. They have a quick turn around and send you regular updates and a picture once the figure is ready and graded. The casing is much better quality then AFA as well.
Check them out at

If anyone is interested I also got a vintage Nes game cart of super mario signed by Charles Martinet if anyone wants to trade me a complete Luigi movie figure for it?

Wicked stuff. Martinet is really a great guy; never a bad word from him, not even about the movie!
