Yes he is. Yes,
he is. Waluigi should be put in a noose, which the other end of is tied to the back of a Mario Kart and we have a good old fashioned bad character
drag. I want his blood to stain the courses from World 1-1 to World 8-4 so that all the inhabitants of the Mushroom Kingdom know what a stupid, horrible, idiotic, hopeless, dickless, good for nothing, dog-licking, horse-humping
sack of monkey shit Waluigi is-- where's the Tylenol?

Christmas vacation refference! XD

Yeah, except Waluigi totally has it coming. He's a good-for-nothing piece of crap that should have been flushed down the toilet when? A long time ago.

Serum is actually proving my point. If me and him had a game against each other of Mario Kart, Mario Party or any of the sports games, I could probably beat him. Not because I'm better, not at all. But because he'll be so frustrated and focused on hating the living daylights out of Waluigi that his ability to play will be impaired. And then he'd lose to Waluigi, which would make the problem ten times worse XD
I will add now that I used to be just as aggressive about opinions on subjects that Serum is now. It actually came out rather fatally as showing this same anger and frustration during multiplayer games where I'd actually get really angry, upset and on the odd occassion even cry that I'd lost - yep. I was one of those gamers, a proper loser.
The key I found to solving the issue was a case of psychology.
I had to win, that's a need that is instinct, built into everyone on this planet. I couldn't not win, because that upset me. That is not changeable.
What was changeable was what I actually won at. Instead of focusing on winning or being the coolest player in the match, I focused on being the most annoying player in the match - something I have a natural ability at (I was actually born annoying, that's a genuine fact - my poor mother). After doing that for a while, I was more relaxed, having more fun, others were enjoying themselves more too, and because I was relaxed and having fun I naturally got better and now I'm a great contender for winning.
This sort of life turnaround wouldn't be available to anyone, including me, if annoying wretched and hilarious characters like Waluigi didn't exist. Waluigi is a horrendously shit character, but that is exactly why he is a perfect character for me and why I was very sad when he didn't manage to appear in Smash Bros Brawl (Though Brawl was a bit shit compared to Melee, despite including more characters).

There shouldn't be a character in a Mario game that raises my blood pressure to the point that I actually physically want to destroy a pixelated image on my television screen. Waluigi is bad, end of discussion. You all can go on whining about how great it is that Wario has a mentally challenged partner in Waluigi and how he's a "great complimentary opposite to Luigi," but there is nothing redeeming or refreshing about the character whatsoever. He's like the Devil or negative karma-- he shouldn't exist, but he does, why? Because we allow him to.
And yes, I just compared Waluigi to the Prince of Darkness, the King of Lies, Old Scratch, Little Horn, or whatever you like to call Satan. No bad deed goes unpunished and when it's time for Waluigi to shuffle off his pixel coil, he'll be dragged straight down to the 9th circle of digital Hell, forever and ever. Amen!

Wario just called me.....Waluigi is coming after you.

But yes there should be, cos people like me and use that to our advantage in a gaming match

Use the force, Luke.

Nobody ever argued that point. Waluigi
is bad. And that's just what is so goddamn right with him ;p

You're insinuating that Waluigi is a character we should "love to hate," and that's what's "right" about him. No, I hate Waluigi because he represents bad writing, sloppy character design and corporate greed-- he has nothing to do with any of the Mario games, nor should he, but he persists in existing. There should not be a character called Waluigi-- this conversation is over.

Strange, I feel the exact same way about the new Star Trek film, the Short Circuit movies, Final Fantasy: Advent Children... some of my most loathed movies, games etc represent bad writing, sloppy character design and corporate greed, but there isn't anything I can do about it, and if I could would it be fair for me to rob people of these things they like?
I understand your feelings on Waluigi. That's cool, that's your view and I can hardly say you're wrong. But I enjoy him, and I enjoy him for the same reason you don't. He pisses you off, and in gaming that makes him my best way to win a match against you. Sort of eliminates my need to develop skill by taking away your focus as your hate bubbles away at you and you under-estimate the character's skills - bearing in mind those are the skills of the player not of the character.

Waluigi and all who are in favor of him can get on the bus with Kazantzakis and Scorcese and go straight to Hell.

Anyway, Waluigi sucks, and us haters would love it if you people say no more of it.

I think he's freaking hysterical. The way he sounds like a duck sent me into serious laughing fits when I was a kid.
Plus WOW his form is so gangly and fun to draw, but that's just my artist side talking aaaahaha.

From what I've seen Waluigi is definitely a very popular character among artists specifically because of his awkward figure. It just makes him that much more fun to draw!

I'm not a big fan of Waluigi, but he's not nearly on the same level of awful that Bowser Jr. is on.

I like Waluigi for what he is; a comic foil for Luigi just as Wario is for Mario.
I've been reading the thread, and this is no attack to anyone in particular, but over time I've lost my ability to dedicate so much hate to a single character. And trust me, I've TRIED to with Daisy; I found her so annoying, and part of me still glares at her and cusses her out when she passes me in Mario Kart. But nowadays I've looked at her, realized she plays the same kind of role as a princess for Luigi, and decided that she needs development in other games outside the sports and party games before I decide whether or not to dislike her anymore. Same with Waluigi.

Daisy and Waluigi are just... interesting additions to the Mario universe. I wouldn't say they offer much to the canon, but they certainly have much more personality than many of the main cast. They would have a lot to offer an actual core game.
