Hey guys recieved this e-mail today from the kid I was talking about trying to take over the project.

I replied back to him a giant 8 paragraph letter how he is jealous and angry that he wasn't part of hte movie. Anyway, if anyone wants to annoy this kid on youtube feel free, his name is MarioRoxMySoxOff. He seems to get a pleasure annoying me if I annoy him back, so you know. You guys want to join in go for it. It'll probably be better that way since there are yougner people in here who can get away with that stuff, since I am not in my teens anymore.

This was all you really had to tell him:
"Welcome to the internet, please move along."

I agree. It's the Internet. All you really need to do is say "Sorry you don't like my work. If you would like to do better, feel free. Good bye."

You guys make it sound so easy lol. I would have done that but he just keeps going he won't stop and, yet I find it very funny to keep him going on and on. Next time though I like your response Merrit, I'll use that.

Well after some crazy f*#(@d up s$*@t happened to me I've had nothing to do, bored and depressed I decided what if I was to re-draw the first two scenes of this movie in flash and see what'd it look like? So I did. The very first like 2 seconds of gameplay of the boy running through stuff, and the shot of Mario playing Nintendo, have been re-animated in flash in a HD 16:9 look. It looks really nice, I'll post some screen caps later today.

I had this inspiration by watching behind the scenes of DBKai, and noticed how they traced over the original footage litterly with a program and re-animated from there. So that's exactly what I did, if I ever finish a huge chunk of it, you all know it will go up on youtube.

As promised the new HD version, but these are just screencaps.





But think of these photos with movement, it actually worked, if I make more scenes I'll post them on youtube.

I must have missed your last two posts. Didn't know you were doing anything of the sort... Any updates, however minor, on either of these related projects?

Unfortunetly I haven't done anything with this movie other then those two quick scenes. I tried to do it the whole DBZKAI style, but realised it would take to long. I think I animated Luigi talking to Mario, other then those two quick scenes, that was all I did. Also my desktop is down right now and in a storage unit since I really dont have a home right now, I just have my laptop and the net. Also my Creature from the Creek movie that I'm working on.

I love animating Mario but I don't see myself doing anything Mario in a while for now.

That's unfortunate. I've had trouble finding a place to be before as well, so no pressure.

Looking forward to any continuation of these projects though. It was good work and I've noted some people on other forums interested in both this and your bootleg of the SMB movie.

Why wasn't this anime released in the US anyway? It seems like a heck of a lot of people would buy it, but maybe I'm wrong.

Well I decided to review this movie. And....I though it was ok. Certainly better than some of my stuff. Now I know what you're thinking? What do you mean it's ok? Well, for one, I thought the script was a little inconsistent with the animation. Like when Mario and Luigi were discussing the gem in the grocery store.

When I first saw thr original anime, it was clear to me that Mario DID NOT wamt to sell the jewel. Instead of Mario saying stuff like" Let's go" and all that I thought the argument was like this.

Luigi: But-

Mario: No.

Luigi: But-

Mario: No.

Luigi: But-

Mario: NO!

At least that's what I thought it sounded like. Also some plot elements sounded off to me, like the Mushroom Kingdom being mentioned in that book Luigi reads, or Peach just happening to know Mario. Also Luigi's accent while funny for a while started to grating and he now sounds weird.

However there are things I liked, like how you kept the original ending where Peach is already betroved to this Haru guy, not with Mario.

Otherwise it would have been hard to explain why Mario just left without even marrying her.. I also liked the humor in it, there were some parts that made me laugh. However it just didn't put me as much as in a good mood as the original. I also will appluad you for you obvious effort into this project. My Grade: A-.

Everything I can say to this lame mail: STOP USING CAPSLOCK! It's annoying! People should realize that internet isn't serious business and when they aren't happy with some projects they should start their own! This incidence reminds me of a florist in cambridge. Another florist made a really similar website then him and then there was a big fight who has the rights on the layout. oh my gosh... sometimes it's not easy to find the right answer!

The post was a response to the email that annoying kid sent you. Remember? The "you suck, you ruined mario history" guy?

Oh yeah I forgot about that, its been so long thnk you for refreshing my memory. Yeah he's totally right about the caps lock thing. That kid was so full of himself. He literally tried to take over the project when I didn't even tell him he was onboard for the project. He just started e-mailing me all these "corrections" he had for the project, Peach not getting with Haru (Toadstool in my dub), Mario sounding like his game counterpart. I even gave him chances to audition but instead of auditioning he just threw ideas that wuld make the movie suck.

I also found a short review of my dub, though it was a bad one I'll upload the link if I can find it again. He went on how I didn't put time with the footage but yet said this other dub did and all they did was use the same footage on youtube. The guy ovciously had no idea what he was talking about, and is probably good friends with the other unfinished dub creator.

Uh dude, all he said was that you had the wrong voice idea, what with Mario sounding stereotypical and Luigi sounded like Borat.

I think the quality of that other dub is certainly commendable, but the voice acting itself is generic and uninspired. The personalities you opted to work with may be hit-or-miss, but at least they really give you the feel of something Marioesque.

Yeah but if you read how claims the other dub, he claims the people remastered the video which they obviously didn't. I actually tried to fix the video quality and he never mentioned it, basicly it was like he was saying I didn't take time to clean up the video which I did. Oh well he's entitled to his own opinion.

BTW, what happened to that DVD thing you were making? Did you just give up on it?

I actually had it made, but never got around to finishing the commentary. Unfortunetly all my stuff is in Ohio so I'll probably never get to finish it.

Hmm, maybe I could cook up a quick DVD release, it wouldn't be that hard to do.

You can if you want, I had really nice dvd menus, and clips from the movie that animated into menus. I have a personal copy of just the movie itself.

Which is the best DVD maker to use?

Which one did you use?

I was using Pinnacle Studio 12. I also used that to make my SMB Bootleg Edition that had the behind the scenes videos that Phlibbit posted.

Oh gosh I WOULD LOVE TO TRY MY VOICE ACTING SKILLS ON THIS.

When it comes down to it I can do a fair veriety of voices.

If your not giving up on this and would like to say recast Bowser Or just have some of the voices redubbed I would love to take a shot at it. The problem is it might not be till next month unless I can find a device thatt records audio.( I think I might have something) This is due to me being at my brother house for the summer.

Anywho's I'll watch a bit of your dub and the orginal and see how they play out. I remember bowser was a bit more childish. Mario was more gruff. Luigi was actully this might of been the thing that inspired luigis future personality.

Thank you but I wont be rerunning this. All my files of this movie is in Ohio and im in Washington. I never want to touch that movie again it was literally he'll making if. As of now its the only way to watch the entire movie in English which im proud of.

Oh and if you like the anime dub I suggest watching my 25th anniversary cartoon.

I was talking about Great Mission to Save Princess Peach, and my very own Mario cartoon SMB25, which actually has the same cast except I changed Luigis voice to sound more like the Dic cartoon. I've seen the Amada series, didn't really care for it. Although I did take the part where Luigi smashes Koopas face with a hammer out of that and put it in my cartoon.

Hey guys, someone downloaded my movie off a torrent and added it to their channel with adds and are making money off it. I asked them kindly to just credit me for making the dub and they said i was attacking them, threatening them, and will destroy me. So I ask you all who supported the dub, put an end to this guy or kid, with bipolar disease and o.c.d. and flag the video, and call him out. He has blocked me from making comments for reasons I said above, which I never did attack him. I would really apreciate it if you guys flag this video, and help me strive to put an end to him. He is making money off of a fan video that I made, I do not have adds on mine, and made it for the soul purpose as a fan project without any money involved. Thanks all of you.

This guy has a Nintendo website but you can tell he obviously just steals articles from other sites like IGN and Gameinformer and adds them to his own site.

Wait, are'nt Mario and Luigi copyrighted?! How is he making money off this without getting shut down by youtube?

He could have listed it as a parody. This guy just needs to be stopped. I have the dub on my channel, but they are not monetized, unlike the video he stole from me.

Um I'd be worried if I were you. Because pretty soon other people are gonna notice and this guy might be crazy enough to flag your videos for stealing his.

I didn't steal his video, he stole mine. He can flag my video, but they can't do anything because I'm not making money off it like he is.

I'm sorry that your dub has been taken, but I'm not quite sure how to Flag it. You can only mark a video as having been stolen if it infringes on your personal claim, which I don't have and I'm not entirely sure you have either. You'd be best checking the site FAQ or directly E-mailing Youtube to see what you can do.

I watched your dub some days ago, just have yet to comment. I really liked it.

Thank you I am glad you like it. I was thinking how a few years ago I started a Kai style project on the film, it would have been really cool if I could have finished it. I think it would look nice if the image was redone in HD, widescreen.

So I asked the guy who stole your video if he got permission from you and he answered by saying that he got it from a torrent website.

So now I asked him which torrent website and I'm hoping to get an answer. But there's a chance this guy's gonna keep going until he'll run out of ideas and start cussing me out.

The idea is that I'm going to squeeze the truth of him and eventually he'll have to fess up, but if he doesn't I'll just shrug and admit my defeat. At least I'd given it the old college try.
