I'm not really new to the whole Super Mario Bros. the movie fan. I have a super old Yahoo Group that I used to run dedicated to the movie. It was actually before this site came to be. Some of you on here may have been a part of my group, like Phlibbit and Redstar. It seems I've just been busy with life and lost contact with the whole thing.
Well I'm here to hang with the rest of you cats and hopefully I'll be able to lend a hand here and there. Got some of my own collection of stuff to post here somewhere. Some of my stuff you guys may or may not have seen, it's nothing miraculous like props per say. Glad to finally be off my lazy butt with this stuff.
I'm really happy with how the site has been turning out over the years. I had always wanted to do a site on the movie, but you guys beat me to it ha ha. That's cool though you guys have been doing awesome and way better then I ever could with it. Hope to be of service and bring something to the table.
Not really new to this, but I figure I best say "Hello"

Great to see you here, BowserKpa! This site and all we've done really couldn't have been possible without your efforts in creating and running that old Yahoo group. We like to think of ourselves as the film's biggest fans and advocates, but you were there first when it seemed far less likely there were other fans out there.
Stick around. It'd be nice to see you contribute any way you can. I'd love to see you post your thoughts on the interviews and scripts in particular since those are perhaps are proudest accomplishment here.

Welcome to the board, brother! I must say, I like the .GIF of the spinning globe.
What would you do without your big brother?
I'd like to give it a shot and find out.

I'm so glad that you decided to join our boards! I'm grateful that you started the Yahoo group--the first sign that I could find on the internet that I wasn't alone in my love for this film

Thanks for the welcomings guys! I know what you mean by those signs, back then there was virtually nothing on the web except some bias hate reviews on a few sites and a couple of pictures here and there. Well my old sign from back in the day is almost nothing compared to the shiny billboard you guys have put out for the world to see!
I'm just glad that I was able to put a small brick in the road you guys have made over the years! I've scoped out a bunch of your interviews and some of the message boards. I try and keep tabs on your site and doings whenever I can. I need to get some more of my stuff on here, but it doesn't help when my PC is so slow and old that I dread turning it on Ha Ha.
I've done a few postings here and there. I got some fan art and a few other tidbits to get on here for ya as well. You guys have done an amazing job here and it's great to see that this site is in good capable hands!

We're glad that you've kept involved despite the years that have passed. Many others in your position would have simply faded away into obscurity or lost any interest... Just look at the thousands of abandoned Pokémon fansites on Geocities.
We really should mention you and the Yahoo Groups page under the About this Website page. It's a fairly encompassing, yet streamlined look at the growth of the film's community from 2007 until now.
In fact, if you ever have anything to contribute to the site we would be happy to showcase it. An editorial discussing the environment of creating a fan page for the film at the time that you did, for example, might be interesting.
