Hey every one I am a nintendo fan and I want to make movies when I get out of highschool.
It's my dream to make films based off of games and make them good( similar to what eddie lebron is doing.) I am not the greatest story teller, but I wrote up a plot summary like screenplay for a SMB2 movie. I am typing it up in the fanstuff section. I hope you guys like it and consider helping me revise certain aspects of the story.

Great to have you around, Movieguy. I've seen you've already made some posts, which I appreciate. Just jump right in and get the discussion coming!
I hope you fulfill your dream of becoming a filmmaker. There can never be enough talented minds in that industry.

Welcome! If you're interested in writing a screenplay, you should check out the great (and free) screenwriting program "CeltX" available for all formats of computers, Windows, Macintosh and Linux. I look forward to reading it.

CeltX is actually a REALLY good program for writing scripts and screenplays for just about any type of media (video games non-withstanding).

I've actually written outlines for several Atari "homebrew" games on CeltX, it works if you really know what you're doing.

That's the thing--it's an incredibly versatile program if you're a seasoned writer. It's just not as "out of the box" ready for game development as it is the other writing environments it supports.
