Looking back I guess it wasn't easy for other people to be forgiving back then, how big the Mario games were and likely the expectations. haha I think I even remember as a kid being ready for the "sequel" that was set up at the end. Funny thing I thought of when watching it for the first time in awhile the other night, the random "glug glug glug", I never really thought much about it but I guess it could be a congratulatory sound the guys make on plumbing jobs. Maybe glug, glug, glug is the sound water makes when a pipe becomes unclogged
