A place for those who "Trust the Fungus"

Hey, Zack here. Glad to sign up and find other fans of SMB the movie. Everywhere else you seem to find the usual "hate". I still remember seeing it in theaters the first day, what a huge deal it was. Got a black pin/button that has Mario and Luigi in the big "M" and says May 28th. Pretty much been a longtime fan of it and have defended it on many occasions as I imagine everyone else has Looking back I guess it wasn't easy for other people to be forgiving back then, how big the Mario games were and likely the expectations.

haha I think I even remember as a kid being ready for the "sequel" that was set up at the end. Funny thing I thought of when watching it for the first time in awhile the other night, the random "glug glug glug", I never really thought much about it but I guess it could be a congratulatory sound the guys make on plumbing jobs. Maybe glug, glug, glug is the sound water makes when a pipe becomes unclogged

Anyway, looking forward to posting some more!

Thanks! Glad to be here! My main online fandom is Ghostbusters which of course includes all the costume/prop stuff that goes along with it. Once in awhile I get back in Mario mode when I'm reminded of the movie.
