A place for those who "Trust the Fungus"

Hey everyone I'm new here, I love the Super Mario Bros. Movie. I first saw it as a kid, on an old crappy quality VHS tape recorded from HBO. It still works, I watched the VHS tape a couple weeks ago, with my friends and they loved it. It was their idea to watch it, not mine. I can't believe the movie still held up after all these years. I had two copies of the Super Mario Bros. The Movie Coloring book, but I don't know where they went. I still have a Golden Book Story book from the movie, the Mario and Luigi action figures from the movie, and also i have the Skybox trading cards. Mario and Luigi unfortunately are missing their tool launchers and tool belts. I lost them long ago in a motel room in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

It's great to see someone rediscovering the SMB film after all these years. I'd love to see your reactions to some of the content on the site, such as the deleted scenes or early draft scripts.

And I know how it feels about the action figures. I once left my "Sky Escape Joker" action figure from Kenner's 1989 Batman series at the play area of the local Belk (it was then Parks/Belk). When I came back to get it, it was gone. Sometimes, you never forget those early losses
